My brother in law suggested we hit up Tenn Lakes… walk in, greeted quickly and warmly by the bartender.. we grabbed a beer each… the beer was very good. I looked at the menu and there were a lot of clever and different options…. I went with a side salad and a cheeseburger baked potato…. Not your typical bar food… but the portions were generous, food was fresh and delicious.. I started having second thoughts while I was waiting for our meals…. I wanted to try the pizza (looks amazing) and I was thinking about wings and ribs…. So, based on my first experience, I am already planning on coming back. What a surprising gem of a local secret hideaway. Thank you for a great experience!”

“The 5 Stars are for James, the bartender. We only come when James works because he makes you feel welcome and makes the bar lively and engaging with his wonderful and funny personality, like one expects a bartender to have: The bar is unique and has a cool history. The beer is ice cold and the drinks are good. The food is inconsistent, so take your chance there. The salad bar is good. Free popcorn in the bar is nice too.”

“Had a great surprise!! Heading from Nashville to Knoxville this morning and decided to gas up in Lebanon. Thought about breakfast including a Mimosa and Bloody Mary and looked up “Brunches nearby”. We saw Town Square Social and it looked really good! Man was it ever!! One of the best “just off the freeway” places to eat ever! Drinks were great and a fantastic brunch menu! Service was amazing! Highly recommend this place for food and drinks! Oh, they also have a rooftop bar/restaurant as well. It’s 57 steps up but worth it!! We’ll be making this a favorite food stop of ours as often as possible!”

“This place is amazing. I eat there 2 to 3 times a week. This is a small family operation if you’re looking for really fast food this is not your place. They cook everything fresh and if there’s a lot of people in there, it may take a little longer than normal but this place is hands-down the best Mexican food place that I’ve tried in Wilson County. Don’t believe the lady that said these people are racist. They’re far from it. They don’t understand English all that well, but they’re trying and they’re getting better. So she might’ve misinterpreted what they meant or what they were doing.”

“My husband and I have been traveling to Virginia from Oklahoma and we stopped at this gem! I’m a sucker for a good, locally roasted coffee house. The two ladies who work there are so sweet and also know the history of the owner, Chris, and his business. They let me smell and taste their Deadshot roast and the Reload (Chris’s original blend). I was offered a taste of the espresso (Reload) and even though I was warned that it may be on the sour side (which it was only very very slightly sour- a person who doesn’t know how to properly taste espresso wouldn’t be able to tell), it was a very smooth and I tasted the toffee and brown sugar tasting notes. There’s not very many times someone has offered me espresso that I’ve enjoyed, and I can honestly say I enjoyed that shot. I’m very critical when it comes to a quality cup of coffee, and that being said, Split Bean Roasting Co. will be on the top places I will be visiting again when my husband and I drive to and from Oklahoma. Great job Chris and ladies (I’m so sorry that I didn’t catch y’all’s names)! I can’t wait to brew some of your wonderfully roasted coffee when we get back to the Sooner State!”

“The bread and rolls were delicious. Poured 2 Tbsp Olive oil over the crutons and added Italian seasoning, mixed well, baked at 375° for 18 min and turned out much better than store packaged.”

“We reached out to Cool Beans and reserved their mobile coffee bar for my bridal shower. Needless to say it was a SMASH hit! Not only were they incredibly attentive and efficient, they also had some of the most delicious coffee I’ve tasted. They have a very wide selection and can craft you practically anything. The guests at my shower didn’t even have to get up as one of the owners came around to tables taking orders and making sure everyone who wanted a drink got one. I ran into the owners again at an event in Lebanon a few weeks after and was immediately treated like an old friend. It’s a full package deal with this business and you won’t be disappointed!”

“If you’re looking for fancy décor, cloth napkins, or someone sprinkling parsley on your plate, keep driving. Fat Mo’s is a no-frills, little hole-in-the-wall that serves up burgers the size of your head.

The burgers are huge, juicy, and unapologetically greasy. (Pro tip: don’t wear your favorite shirt unless you like grease stains as a fashion statement.)

Lindsey has a wonderful attitude with all the customers that pop in and decompress here, She definitely runs a nice ship and her memory is unmatched. Ive never seen a better bartender do it better. Had a chance to meet Shelby and Reagan and a few other staff members and they all have a great vibe and quality customer service that makes you feel welcomed and pushes you to come back and have a great relaxed experience. The kitchen staff is also dedicated to service and sends out the proper quality in their food. You can definitely expect good taste and presentation off their menu. “As far as Subways go, this is a good one. The youngsters are usually hustling and bustling behind the counter. They have good cookies and I usually order an All-American Club. I'll be back.”

Got a big huge plate of it, and it was excellent. The next time, I got about a third that's one of these I got the last one (but was still very good. I had told the waitress that I was extremely hungry..... Hint hint hint hint...... to no avail. Other than that, I highly recommend the place. I suggest ordering carry out; most likely, you'll get consistent portions.”

“I've had their nachos a long time ago before the name changed and they were really good. I just went this past Sunday and again yesterday. I had the brisket loaded fries, and then the brisket quesadillas with a side of greens. EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING was so delicious!!! So was the peach cobbler and banana pudding. 10/10 for the win!!! The staff was very nice as well and oh yeah can't forget the smoked lemon pepper wings as well!!!
