“My husband and I have been traveling to Virginia from Oklahoma and we stopped at this gem! I’m a sucker for a good, locally roasted coffee house. The two ladies who work there are so sweet and also know the history of the owner, Chris, and his business. They let me smell and taste their Deadshot roast and the Reload (Chris’s original blend). I was offered a taste of the espresso (Reload) and even though I was warned that it may be on the sour side (which it was only very very slightly sour- a person who doesn’t know how to properly taste espresso wouldn’t be able to tell), it was a very smooth and I tasted the toffee and brown sugar tasting notes. There’s not very many times someone has offered me espresso that I’ve enjoyed, and I can honestly say I enjoyed that shot. I’m very critical when it comes to a quality cup of coffee, and that being said, Split Bean Roasting Co. will be on the top places I will be visiting again when my husband and I drive to and from Oklahoma. Great job Chris and ladies (I’m so sorry that I didn’t catch y’all’s names)! I can’t wait to brew some of your wonderfully roasted coffee when we get back to the Sooner State!“

The entire staff is super friendly, I went here on a day that I wasn't feeling fabulous and whomever was taking drive thru orders turned my day around just by the way he greeted and treated me!! “I've been on a diet since February and have been doing well. the past 2-3 weeks I have plateaued. I'm a major drinking of dt my dew and usually get mine at the store on 21st and Green Bay. I knew the taste was different but thought it was due to a different syrup-carbonation ratio. Today, after a few weeks of 2-3 xl sodas a day (I know, it's not good for me), my wife tasted it and was sure it was regular. We went back to the store and tasted the diet and regular MD and, sure enough, they tasted the same. I asked an employee to check. He did and confirmed they had the regular hooked up to the diet!!! Unbelievable. Imagine if I was a diabetic and relied on their fountain soda machine to be drinking diet soda and the negative health impact that could have had on me. This slowed down my weight loss as well which is very upsetting.“
