Cafe On the Corner

Amazing food! I had a Cobb salad, which I am normally not fond of. It was out of this world fabulous. I spoke with the chef and she said they brine the chicken first. That and the fabulous bacon and the interesting out of the ordinary dressing popped this dish! She was even bold enough to share the recipe for their amazing Mac and cheese recipe with us! Not that I could replicate it, but she is a fabulous chef! I give this restaurant a 10 out of 5 stars.

This place was right up my alley! I had the calamari, fried green tomatoes, chicken, and a salad. The fried green tomatoes were my favorite. They were fried perfectly and had a tangy slaw on top. The sauce that came with the calamari was sweet and tangy too. My Cafe Salad was fresh and nicely garnished. My partner had the Greek Herb Chicken and ate the whole thing. I can not remember any meal I've enjoyed more than this. I had the special, a mushroom ravioli, and a Bailey's brownie. I finished my pasta with a clean plate - it was light, incredibly full of flavor, and the perfect serving size. The Bailey's brownie was absolutely magical.
