“We had to come to this institution of Southern Meat and 3 Restaurants. As a Chef, I always seek out the best places in the cities I travel to. They won a James Beard Award in 2009. Met the Owner, Rose, and her son, Cahill. They bought is dessert which was this awesome Bread Pudding and Peach Pie that was just incredible. This is a place that shows what True Southern Food and True Southern Hospitality are all about. Thank You“

A wadded up bun slathered in creamy goat cheese on one side, flimsy bacon, plain burger meat, candied caramelized onions on a potato bun. The goat cheese had very little flavor and the entire burger would have tasted the same if it was just onion and bacon on a potato bun. Grease and onion juice will probably cover you while eating this.

Plus the parking situation is dystopian and requires validating through some random website.

I love the place, the look of it, and the sounds and smells of an old diner and soda shop. I even love that they make their own soda, and included some local ingredients, but I'm not a fan of the burger they put up for burger week.“

Also, the espresso martini and truffle fries are perfection! The vibes and atmosphere are upscale and elegant. Such a fun night. Cannot wait to hear more from Valeri! Favorite date night spot.“

“D’Angelo has outstanding customer service skills. He made recommendations, listened to requests, checked on us several times, and was extremely friendly!!! We are visiting from Columbus, OH. We have visited many restaurants in Tennessee, but this Cheddar’s Kitchen in Hendersonville is the most welcoming environment we encountered. Few managers offer this caliber of service. Please recognize D’Angelo for being so kind to strangers today 7/26/2026. We visited at 9pm and he was all smiles (as if it were 9am). There was also a man with braids who helped DeAngelo bring out the food. He cooked the New Orleans Alfredo pasta and he was very friendly as well. The ribs, red beans and rice, green beans, spinach dip and croissants were delicious. Thank you all for an excellent experience.

“We arrived at the Nashville location. Was told there was a 20-minute wait, we said OKAY and was seated. The greeter told us that they only had 1 cook and 1 waitress. Our waitress Tasha informed us that she was the only one to serve the entire place. We fully understood and look over the menu; she served everyone their drinks in the place. She took our order. We got are food and it was outstanding. The fish was cooked perfect, and our friends had the county steak, and it was amazing. My wife had the slow cooked roast beef, and she said it was outstanding. Overall, for having a short staff, they did amazing job. Tasha went above and beyond she tasks. I just wish other places would see and do what she did for her customers. We highly recommend this place and will return again.“
