Great food, the sauce is delicious and I wish it could be sold in the store.
I worked at American Deli (2457 MLK DR)two different times. This second time I quit because the management sucks. Mr Chuni stole money out of my paycheck saying the draw was short every single day I closed. He also took my pay down from 13 to 11 dollars because I quit. They have roaches every where in the back all in the ice machine. They have immigrants working in the back that get drunk on the clock and harass the women employees. The establishment offered a variety of foods such as salads, subs, turkey, ham, philly cheesesteak, chicken wings, boneless and bone in wings, gyros, burger, French fries, crinkle‑style French fries, Reuben sandwich, fried rice, fish tilapia, whiting, fried shrimp, and chicken tenders. The food is hot and fresh. The chef salads are served fresh with a variety of toppings and generous portions. The chicken gyro combo is nicely cooked with fresh toppings. The French fries are hot, crispy and not greasy. The sauces are fire and the seasoned fries are so good. The staff is young, very friendly and helpful. The cashier is welcoming and knowledgeable. The establishment is clean and the dining area is pleasant. Some guests say the hot wing pieces are too small and the wings are fried a little too hard. Others suggest bringing back carrots and celeries to match the hot wings. A young lady at the front counter was noted as unreceptive to feedback. Overall the location is high recommendation for friendly service, food quality and clean atmosphere.
