Tasting menu with wine pairing- all absolute perfection!!!
We dined at Dory last night and it was such a fun night out! Each course offered a unique tasting experience that encompassed beautifully prepared dishes from land, ocean, and garden (the beet dish was phenomenal) The service was excellent and the chef even made a point to thank us and ask us about our experience. This restaurant and culinary artistry was needed in the Memphis area! I’m so glad it’s here!
I really wanted to like Dory more than I did. I chose the restaurant for an anniversary dinner while visiting Memphis. Many of the ingredients and preparations were unique and interesting but ultimately they didn't come together into great dishes. If I ate out in Memphis regularly I would give them another shot though. The staff was welcoming but seemed a little thin for the number of tables sat.
