“China Cottage came to us recommended by our Kennesaw Farms community. We have had so many disappointments that we were wary of giving any one else a try. We were craving Chinese food and decided to give China Cottage a try...FANTASTIC and SO Good! It was so refreshing to have wonderful chicken fried rice and pork fried rice made with REAL meat and not some diced cube of supposed meat. The pepper steak was amazing, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. Thank you neighbors for the recommendation and thank you China Cottage for not disappointing and you all have now become our place to go when we are craving delicious Chinese food!“
“The portions are quite large. We ordered Pad Thai and Basil Shrimp. The basil shrimp had a large variety of vegetables in it and a lot of shrimp. I gave 4 stars because the menu does not have descriptions of the ingredients or how the dish is prepared.“
“I give this place 5 for value, and charm. I go in and there's a kid at the counter. I pick up a menu and expect him to find an adult to help me. But he just stands there patiently. Finally I figure out what I want and ask if I'm supposed to order thru him, and he says yes. Actually, he's very knowledgeable and competent, answer the phone, taking orders, running cards, speaking perfect English (and Chinese, presumably). Reflects well on his parents. I want spicy, either Mapo Tofu or a "bean curd szechuan style." I ask what's the difference, and he explains (the bean curd is fried tofu, for one). I ask for the spiciest level they've got for the bean curd. They don't have brown rice. He said they have "yellow rice," but I didn't inquire further. Anyway, I got white rice and the bean curd. I wish it were spicier, and next time I'll try the Mapo Tofu instead. But the food was good and there was plenty of it for the $10.50 or whatever on the menu. They also have lunch specials! They have like 4 tables off to the side for sitting/eating. Nothing fancy, but serviceable. At least we save on the tip!“
“Everything was great. Food quality, prices, etc. The only sad part is that the hibachi grills are all shut down. When I asked why, the server said because they can’t find people to work them. So all hibachi is made in the back. Don’t come here expecting that. Other than that, things were great.“
