This location has went very down hill, unpredictable quality of food, raw chicken, extremely dirty, people under the influence running the drive thru. Used to be a favorite bits it’s gotten so bad. I try to give them a chance at least once a month and keep getting even more disgusted I finally had to leave a review. This place needs help bad.

Went in to get a chicken wrap and had to use the restroom and there was a huge cockroach crawling on the floor. And when this was brought to managements attention, SHE acted like they did NOT have a care in the world, and actually started laughing. and when I asked the lady that was on the register if she was a manager, SHE actually had an earbud in her ear, and I asked her the same question three times before I was even acknowledged. Slim Chickens is a welcomed addition to Mt. Juliet, offering a tasty menu with a great selection. The chicken basket meal with buffalo sauce was very enjoyable. The tenders were really good, and the fries were crispy. The mac and cheese, fried pickles, and Texas toast were all delicious sides. The shakes were tasty, and the slim sauce added a unique flavor. The service was superfriendly, and the staff were well managed and efficient. The restaurant is a bit tricky to enter but worth the effort for the good food. The real treat was the cheesecake dessert, and the food was hot. This is one of the first times many have eaten at this restaurant, but they will be back soon.
