Great folks & really good food! We certainly enjoyed our visit & we probably had a group of 20+ people.
Got in and sat down,promptly the waitress got our drinks and placed orders,waited at least 45 minutes and still no food,people all around us that came in after us being served food,we had previously been there and had a great experience,I paid for our drinks and left,not planning to go back
today was my first time eating there and I was not disappointed.. the fried mushrooms were awesome and the strawberry cake was delicious

The building may be old and worn, but it has more soul than a southern Baptist Church on a Sunday in July. Prices are very good, and the use of a historic building adds to its charm. Friendly and attentive staff, along with a fun country feel, make it a favorite spot for weekly visits. The restaurant is easily accessible for wheelchairs, and the service is excellent, with waitresses providing friendly care. While tables may need wiping after busy dinners, the flavorful, soulful food keeps customers coming back, with many dishes like the Hawaiian chicken proving to be delicious. Soon to be a classic local fave, it’s a place where real food and local comfort are at the heart.
