Mellow Mushroom Nashville - Vanderbilt

I have always liked Mellow Mushroom but I always have a hit or missed on the service or the cleanness of the restaurant and bathrooms. This last time was a good experience. We came here to grab some pizza and the pizza was on point. The staff that was there was friendly and attentive and the restaurant was organized and clean (no dirty tables left behind) and the floors were clean too. Mellow Mushroom is my new favorite pizza! We ordered a large all-meat and a large pepperoni for 4 people - thinking that 1 large would not be enough. Well... one large would have been enough, but would have been a mistake - as there wouldn't be any to take home. I actually should have ordered 3 large pizzas! The crust is thin and crispy where the delicious toppings are. The outer 2 inches of the pizza is pure crust heaven. Get a side of beer cheese to dip your crust in. Yum!

I will definitely be back for the pizzas and calzones here! Everything was extremely well made. If you have the space in your stomach, I highly recommend ordering their ice cream brownie dessert. It was the perfect dessert to end on after eating the entres.
