“Wow!!! It is great that it is open again!!! We travel quite often, and Newport is one of our favorite stops, and having Michael's open again is GREAT!! Wonderful service, Awesome food and GREAT music, Atmosphere is great, my wife and I highly recommend it, and the fact that it is a LOCAL business is the extra plus!! Support your locals and have a Great time, I had the Angus burger and the wife had the chicken strips with the Cajun sauce. Awesome ?“
“I come through here intentionally every year as I really enjoy going there. I normally tent camp, but they have cabins, RV, etc. They have food,drink,music and the French Broad.The staff is there to serve and make you feel welcome.There are some really good roads to explore.“
“Amazing find in East Tennessee. We were the only ones there for a Thursday evening, but most of their business is during lunch. Everything is absolutely delicious and not made like anything I’ve had before. From the ridiculously tender shredded beef in the stroganoff to the flavor bomb cabbage rolls and the simple, yet satisfying borscht, we didn’t want to stop shoveling it all into our faces. This is easily the best food in all of Newport, and probably all of the lakeway area.“
