“Our family eats at Big Tom's at least once a week. (Usually more.) We typically go at lunch or on Monday/Tuesday nights bc there isn’t live music those nights. A few weeks ago mom ordered potato soup at lunch and I had a bite and have wanted my own since. I’ve called a few times a week to ask the soup of the day since then. Today I told Nikki “I’m going to need the recipe from nana.” She did me one better and called nana right then. This is why we love to support local. We’ve been petitioning Aubrey’s for bread like they have in Knoxville for years to no avail. Mention once that you’re pregnant and want soup from Big Tom’s and nana’s making it tomorrow!“

“Food is good. I've been avoiding this place because it gave me food poisoning a few months back right before they didn't have a very good health inspection. I decided to give it another shot because they have good service and the food is reasonably priced. They redeemed themselves.“
