The sticky rice was amazing , the miso soup was SO good. Got sushi too & didn't get a chance to eat it but excited for it today. Also, appreciate their side options. My kiddo wouldn't eat a full meal but the side option allowed us to get her something she actually would. 10/10 will eat again when in the area! “This place is a gem that has been operating here forever!! The best authentic Thai food in Nashville. The space is in a house and can be a bit tight and crowded, but I think it is one of the charms of old place that has been around for so long. You can see the owner likes plants, there are lot of hanging plants and pots all around which add charms and personal touch to the experience. Their Pad Thai is very tasty but it could be less sweet. The flavor is bold and tastes very authentic. I usually get the one with green bean noodles which has nice texture and tastier. We love their bao buns and dumplings, too. Their sticky mango dessert is one of the best I have ever tasted!“

“First off, let me start with the service. The staff were welcoming and kind. The inside decor was clean and the vibe was inviting. A true hidden gem, this place had barely anyone inside but anyone who entered couldn’t help but smile and have fun as they were being treated by servers with infectious smiles and positive attitudes. Now onto our next subject. The food… My goodness did the food come out quick and they did not sacrifice quality food for good service either. The Crab Rangoon might have been the best appetizer I have ever eaten. It came out in a mere two minutes after ordering and then the main dish I had was Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was soft, sweet and hot. Everyone needs to visit Poy Thai, I left with a new type of joy I have never felt before. When Jesus comes back He needs to visit Poy Thai.“

“Great Thai food even for non-curry lovers. The pineapple fried rice is amazing, shrimp pad Thai is yummy, spring rolls, crab wontons. There is nothing that I have had that I did not enjoy. The staff is pleasant, helpful and very nice. I don’t know what some of these reviewers are talking about because we find this place delightful. Hope they are on Hendersonville for a long time!“

“Food was fantastic! We both had a chicken massaman curry and it was delicious and priced well. To be honest, I wasn’t sure, or to think when we first walked in since it seemed like sort of whole-in-the-wall/greasy spoon sort of place, but they actually put a lot of TLC into their food clearly. The only reason I marked the service as four stars was because any restaurant or business these days that doesn’t do tap really needs to update their payment system, so make sure you bring either cash or your card with you, because a tap payment with phone doesn’t work here.“

I place a call to Rice box they said my food was already done it wasn't but a few minutes after I placed order.. when the order got picked up they said that it was cooked extra spicy and extra crispy. pitched the food will not be back.“
