“Since its opening, The Local Goat has been the go-to overnight stop on our I-75 North/South trek. Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. She reflects good service and compliments the excellent food of The Local Goat experience. Sky engaged in a friendly conversation with a very sweet, personal touch; we will remember to ask for her on our next stop!“

EDIT: November 23rd, 2025 - it's my birthday, and yet again Adam and the Rodizio staff have knocked it out of the park. My husband loves the Hearts of Palm, and though it wasn't out on the bar, Adam went out of his way to get some for us. Kevin (one of the Gauchos) made sure the type of meat we were hoping for was brought around quickly. Awesome experience here every time!“

“We had an out of the blue date night last night. My mom came over and we asked to go to dinner with no idea where to go. We decided to give Lakshore Grille a try and WOWWWWW. We were so happy with our decision to come there. We will be back over and over again. The food was some of the best we have had and the entire service staff was so friendly. “I’m a very picky eater and when a friend suggested my husband and I eat at Haven’s with him we agreed. My husband had meatloaf, okra, cabbage with a corn muffin and I had the fried chicken wings, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas with a corn muffin. Every single thing we ate was the best we have ever tasted!! I couldn’t believe it. Our friend ordered the pork chops and could only eat one so my husband got to eat the other one. Seriously, it was hard to leave there with out ordering two or three meals to go. Since we live in Cleveland Haven's will see us at LEAST once a week. The girls there are precious and the food is cooked after you order. Such a Fantastic place!!!“

“Firebirds 🔥 is our favorite spot. Great place to go for special occasions, they are always generous with a special dessert. Food is deliciously amazing, service is top shelf, ambiance is really great and we love Don, the manager! He's always busy keeping everything running perfectly and has a smile remembering us. Happy hour is worth your trip from far away, the Bar Bite menu is the best!! I love the Parmesan Fries, the Beef Sliders and the Chicken Nachos are truly a must!! Of course the wine 🍷 is always good. “Celebrating birthday. Great food. Enjoyed the birthday dessert perk. Plenty of food left over to take home. Some minor issues with service, waitress had some issues packaging our take home correctly. Actually I don't like my food being taken back to the kitchen. In the future just bring me boxes. My water glass went dry. At first, ok, then long periods of time between table visits. Ordered coffee when we got our desserts. Never came. Didn't say anything, as we'd been there well over an hour and a half, time to go. Waitress very nice, maybe having a bad evening, or new, could do better. Was still tipped well. I'd expect perfect service at JA's.“

“I moved here 2 years ago and this was the first place I stop for dinner and since the first day they treated me like a local. The bartender asked me : You are not from here don’t you? And I said, No, I just moved with my family, and from there she started suggesting what to get from the menu, put me up to date with the area, and not only she introduced me to some of their regular customers she even recommended other restaurants, schools and even a good church. The staff has always been nice, but yes sometimes they are a little busy, what is understandable. Coming from FL I had to wait at least 45 min minimum just to get a table. In some occasions the owner has stopped by my table to say hi and to ask about how the service was going and once he even give me and my cousin to try for free the loaded nachos before they put them in the menu. In my opinion, not only the food has been great, (and I have tried most of the menu), but the staff has been extremely helpful and nice taking in consideration that I was new in the area. So for me this has been a great place so far, service is great, food is good and they try to at least make a personal connection with you which most of the places don’t even care. NYPD is a great place and Im happy we have it here in town.“

“Best service as I’ve become a regular. The chicken fried rider is sooooo crispy and with the lettuce creates a one of one flavor! The hummus with pita is otherworldly. The flavor depth is what keeps me coming back truly. If you crave something sweet try their original baklava as it’ll have you scrambling back for more. I love that they are inclusive and each time I dine whether to go or eat in I feel like I’m apart of their family. If you get onion rings ask for them extra crispy it’ll blow your socks off so make sure to wear two pairs! I’d go as far to say this is a Chattanooga must visit! This is Chattanooga’s hidden gem hands down!“

However, I hate the changes in the newly remodeled restaurants I have been in also, the side/vegetable portions have become so small they often look more like a child’s portion, leaving me having to order more or add on a child’s plate of vegetables. Oh yes, in the bathrooms are universally, dirty, smelly, and disgusting no matter how far or near I travel. I should know I eat 2 to 3 times a week at Cracker Barrel.“

“The best place to eat! While on the weekend they may be busy and it takes a few minutes to be seated most of the time we have no wait! The staff is so friendly. Kim is the best CHEF IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, and Miko along with Joko give the best dining service!!! The bartenders are also fantastic for those 21+! We come here multiple times a week and always will. “We’ve eaten at Drakes, Chattanooga, since it’s opening and never been disappointed until today when a customer brought a dog inside to the inside “patio” seated at the table next to us. The dog was hyper and the man kept scratching it. Next a female joined him and began scratching the dog. The waiter reached down and also scratched the dog. Next time the waiter came by, the dog jumped up on her and again she scratched the dog. We asked to move inside to an empty booth. After we moved the man brought in another dog. Why were dogs allowed in the restaurant? They were NOT service dogs.“

“during the floods last week I decided to try it, despite it pouring down raining, ordered a bag to go, I SPECIFICALLY said no pork sausage in it (health reasons) I get all the way home and guess what's in it? 😡 So I had to give it away, I called them and the young lady apologized and said if I bring it back (30 min drive in floodwaters) she would give me another, or if I came in later she would replace it. I came in today (with receipt) to get it and the manager told me she could only give me a 25% discount. The service is bad and the food is mediocre never again.“
