EDIT: November 23rd, 2025 - it's my birthday, and yet again Adam and the Rodizio staff have knocked it out of the park. My husband loves the Hearts of Palm, and though it wasn't out on the bar, Adam went out of his way to get some for us. Kevin (one of the Gauchos) made sure the type of meat we were hoping for was brought around quickly. Awesome experience here every time!“

“Since its opening, The Local Goat has been the go-to overnight stop on our I-75 North/South trek. Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. She reflects good service and compliments the excellent food of The Local Goat experience. My husband had meatloaf, okra, cabbage with a corn muffin and I had the fried chicken wings, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas with a corn muffin. “I stopped in as a walk-in to place a to-go order and was greeted right away. The staff member I spoke with was very friendly and asked if I had called ahead; when I said no, they were quick to take my order and get everything started.

I live about 30 minutes away, so I was a little concerned about the food staying warm, but I used a hot bag and everything held up well. Even after the drive, the food was still warm and tasted great.

Overall, I had a really good experience and would definitely recommend giving them a try. I would 100% bring friends and family here again!“

“This was not my first time at Firebirds but it was the best time. Made a reservation through OpenTable, and had zero wait to sit down. Our server, Vanessa, was fast and attentive with everything. She even was amazing at accommodating my picky aunt who ended up getting three sides instead of an actual entree. The food was amazing, the service was even better. “To start we went on. Saturday night and sat upstairs and really enjoyed the live music. The service was just a little slow but not bad and our waitress did have a large party so I’m not complaining. The atmosphere was quite enjoyable and staff very friendly. For the month of February they were having a tour or Italy for two special for $37. It was a good deal. The breadsticks were good and homemade. The salads were salads nothing amazing but good. All of the food on the tour of Italy was really good and we enjoyed it. It’s all covered in red sauce and cheese so it was hard to tell what was what without getting into it. I also wish they offered fresh Parmesan not just the grated shakers common at pizza stores. I’d also recommend asking for a side balsamic vinaigrette dressing to add to the oil for the breadsticks. I would recommend this place, we had a great date night. One complaint or suggestion to the restaurant,get rid of the advertisements in the menu, it’s tacky and distracting. No one is eating there because they are hoping to find a lawyer or cleaning service, the restaurant should be enough without selling menu space, it’s very 90’s and off putting and unromantic. It’s a terrible idea and I hope you consider removing it, it would be much classier.“

“We weighed my plate and it was over 3 lbs of food! It’s so good. Everything is made fresh. Delicious with lots of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s a bit pricey for one person, but I knew I was going to be working from home tomorrow and it’s enough for both days. I got the plate, I’m not a fan of the bowl meals from anywhere. This is between Krispy Kreme and CVS. So you can come out at the light if you’re turning left coming back toward the airport.“

“We’ve eaten at Drakes, Chattanooga, since it’s opening and never been disappointed until today when a customer brought a dog inside to the inside “patio” seated at the table next to us. The dog was hyper and the man kept scratching it. Next a female joined him and began scratching the dog. The waiter reached down and also scratched the dog. Next time the waiter came by, the dog jumped up on her and again she scratched the dog. We asked to move inside to an empty booth. After we moved the man brought in another dog. Why were dogs allowed in the restaurant? They were NOT service dogs.“
