“was in there tonight and it was crowded. one worker had a problem and had to step away. That left just one...we did not get her name but she handled it like a boss. matter of fact she tried to call her manager several times and manager didn't answer (imagine that). A tip was left ... thank you for the positive attitude“

“Delicious cookies! Free samples really helped us decide which cookies to get. Got the 6 bags for $45 deal to save and be able to get some of all the samples we liked! The bite sized cookies are fun! Kevin gave us the most friendly, best customer service!“

“Our favorite place to get funnel cakes. They are the best in my opinion. The owner and workers are so nice and they want you to love what you get from them so let them know how much you enjoyed it, they work hard and long hours for their customers. Go try them I don’t believe you will be disappointed I think you will be glad you tried them.“

“Spotlight Bakery in Dollywood is so worth a stop if you’re craving something freshly baked while in the park. I started my day with a plain croissant, and honestly? It was perfect. Flaky, buttery, and just what I needed as a little walking-around snack. I wasn’t expecting much, but it really surprised me.
Later, as we were leaving the park, we decided to grab some of their famous cinnamon bread—definitely a Dollywood must-try. We got two kinds: one with icing (classic and delicious!) and another with apple butter. Here's where it lost a star for me: they charged almost $2 for a tiny 2 oz cup of apple butter... and it wasn’t even filled up all the way. You maybe get 1 oz if you're lucky. For that price, I expected at least a full serving. It just felt a little stingy, especially when the rest of the experience was so good.
Still, overall the baked goods were amazing and lived up to the hype. I’d definitely go back, but maybe skip the apple butter unless they decide to give you what you actually paid for!“

“Very happy customer!
Placed an order back in Feb '24 for a cookie cake for my birthday & was made as expected but unfortunately I had to leave town before the store opened and was already paid for.
Called the store and spoke with the manager Chris and he said although he didn't think corporate would issue me a refund he would take my name down and the next time I was in the area he would have another one made for me.
After nearly 7 months, I called him back and he remembered who I was and was still willing to honor his commitment. Was finally able to pick up the cake a couple days ago & just wanted to share my appreciation for Chris at Great American Cookie for his understanding & willingness to take care of me. All around great service & highly recommend this location for all your cookie cake, cookies or ice cream needs! Thanks again Chris.“

“I visited on Sunday off Memorial Day '25. The employees were all very friendly and eager to help. Plenty of food waiting to be purchased. We purchased an original Cinnabon and Auntie Anne pretzel. Both fresh and delicious. They are open until 11 pm!“

“Not sure why people are giving bad reviews. Me and my kids are from IL, and we loved the cupcakes“

“The cinnamon bread is everything you've heard that it is. Sweet, moist, and cinnamon-y. If you want to get more after you leave the park, both of the Dollywood resorts sell them in the lobby. We stopped at the Dollywood DreamMore Resort before we left town to pick up a couple more loaves. When you go inside, walk to your right and you'll see a Starbucks on your right that sells the cinnamon bread. Enjoy!“
