“Our go-to spot in town for what we can't find at Aldi. We love getting filets, fresh breads, store brand "Private Selection" ice creams (OMG!), produce, Boar's Head deli meat and cheese, and special occasion cakes here. If you order cakes or cupcakes, make sure to call in the order or order in person, as we have had the online submission not go through twice and been left without personalized goodies. You CAN always have them write on pre-baked/available items in the bakery day-of, too. Check-out is easy here, service is friendly (except at the meat/butcher counter), and the produce is always fresh with a wide variety. I love going on Saturday mornings when the sushi chefs are making sushi. They will make one fresh for you! They have a great variety of wines. Overall, we really like this location.“
“Great experience! The cupcakes are delicious. My favorites are the ones with cream cheese icing because I love cream cheese, but all were scrumptious! When I went last weekend, she had a strawberry cake with cream cheese icing that I wanted, but I was already getting one of every cupcake she had, so it would have been too much for us. However, if she has another one next time I go, I will get it. I have informed my husband that I want that kind of cake for my birthday, so maybe he'll try to order one for me. She has the best chocolate chip cookies, too! She came up with her recipe after repeated tries to please her husband until he was finally satisfied. Her efforts paid off. “I ordered a king cake from VG’s, and it was excellent. You can order it with different fillings and it was an authentic cake with the beads and other decorations on the cake.Also had the baby of course.My wife is in the hospital at the time and so I ordered a baby king cake which only comes in cinnamon for one of her nurses.in the past we have had different cookies breads and other treats and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality or taste.“

“What a great find for lunch! We were wanting something different and not knowing a lot about Osk Ridge, this popped up on a search. We had our food in 5-6 minutes. The homemade desserts are worth every penny. The service was "old fashioned". Well worth the drive.“
