“This place is nothing like anything in the Smokies. We took the family to get here and it’s Latin cuisine with a few tasty twists. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. It is attached to the Wayback hotel which is across from the Island. Great food option while you are in Pigeon Forge area.“

“Loved the Iron Boar. Frank went out of his way to welcome us when we came in. His service was so good we came back the next 2 days & ate with him again. He had great knowledge of the menu and pointed us in the right direction each and every time. If you love sitting outdoors and hanging out this is the place to be!

“My daughter has a severe dairy, egg, and tree nut allergy. She can't eat out at most restaurants due to risk of cross contamination. My husband read that Mellow Mushroom had a vegan menu, so I called to ask what procedures they use for the vegan items to see if her food could safely be prepared separately from allergen items. I spoke with the manager, Drew, who not only said, "Absolutely we can safely prepare her food, no problem," but then he walked through all the steps that would be taken to ensure her food would be safe. That gave this very anxious allergy mom much needed reassurance and comfort. When we arrived, he came over and introduced himself and again reassured us he would take care of our sweet girl. He even made the pizza himself and returned to our table to explain the safety precautions he took. He truly went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was able to enjoy a meal out. I can't express how much that meant to me and my family. Very thankful to Drew for such a great experience! 10/10 recommend, especially for anyone with strict allergy avoidance.“

“I ordered the cod/fish & chips. The south is mostly catfish country, so having another option is for fried fish is amazing! The beer battered cod was awesome! Came with fries & cole slaw as well and lemon wedges. It was really good. Restaurant is clean and staff are friendly. There was a wait to eat, but certainly worth the wait.“

“Booked last minute and loved the theme and vibe. Clean, comfortable beds with a working ac. It's right on the strip so you do get some noise but it's expected and very minimal. I also loved that it is wheelchair/handicap accessible. The room we were on was a different floor and you got up to it by going up a ramp. I thought that was neat. The pool looked inviting and I loved the lounge chairs, I'll have to bring my swim suit next time. The free pancake breakfast was also nice. Hoping to stay here again later this year. I will say the hill makes me anxious but it's worth it.“

“Our experience was awesome! My wife is an ICU Nurse and very sensitive to indoor dining no matter how many precautions are taking by the establishment. I was told the outdoor dining had been closed for the season. After a brief explanation to my wife’s story, Kristin offered to seat us outdoors and offered incredible service. “Beautiful, clean and inviting. I will stay here again, It is located with easy access just off the Pkwy. We went to the bar and had a drink, and the pizza and salad were really good.

Rooms: The beds were perfect and clean. Great shower and had a nice small balcony.

Nearby activities: You are close to the Islands and other attractions. Easy access to the Pkwy. and to Teaster. Around the corner from the convention center.

Food and drinks: On site bar and food. The pizza and salad were very good.“
