“My husband and I visited this restaurant for our anniversary, and it was truly unforgettable! The food was absolutely phenomenal, every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. “We had lunch mid week. Excellent service from greeter to server. Manager cruised through to check on us. We requested an entree only served at dinner and the chef graciously accommodated. Food was outstanding. Shrimp and grits were perfect. Lobster crab cakes presentation was as good as the taste. I’m from the Gulf Coast and very picky about seafood. The crab bisque was delicious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“My mom and I finally got to visit the restaurant today and loved everything! The crab cake and the tiger shrimp appetizer was our favorite! Highly recommend the crab cake. We had the ribeye and it was also really good. And the chocolate cake is amazing. I recommend this place and can’t wait to come back! Andrew was our server and we really like him and how attentive he was. Thank you for a wonderful experience for our first time! 😊“

“The food was awesome best steak and asparagus I have had in a long time. Steak was tender and good quality and flavorful. Potatoes were not as good. Mike the server was extremely nice, very knowledgeable of the food, menu, wine list and other offerings. Next time will leave room for dessert! Would recommend and have to all my friends.“

“First time eating at SmashCity and it was ALL good. Great service and great food. The spicy smash burger had just enough heat but not too much. Great crispness to the edges of the burgers. I really enjoyed the overall flavor. The fries were just right - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.“

“I so appreciate that this restaurant is celiac-friendly and offers to change their gloves. We’ve never had an issue with cross contamination. This is one of the only places in Knoxville my daughter can safely eat. Thank you for being (mostly) gluten free!“

“Will NEVER eat there! Served my son a ROTTEN Oyster!!! Emily Acknowledged and apologized that the oyster was rotten!! I spoke to her after the incident and she was very apologetic and wanted to make it right!! Fast forward, asked for all the receipts for his medical care and then crickets!!! Weeks later, he received a $50- gift card, what a joke!! That is NO WAY to do business!!! BEWARE!!!!“

“This place was nasty. Food isn't labeled - you have to guess what you're eating. My daughter plated Mac and cheese with a long black coarse hair in it in front of my husband and was so disgusted she didn't even want to eat anything. The "steak" is bathing in what I assume is Montreal Steak Seasoning and some type of juice. My toddler literally ate a breadstick and NOTHING else - not even Jello. I paid for our meal but regret eating here. Sorry just my opinion. Our server was WONDERFUL so I have NOTHING against her.“
