“We cook all of our burgers to the internal temperature of 165 degrees which is well done, but because we cook them on a smoker grill, they will still have a pink color, as smoking meats gives meat a pink color. I’m sorry you thought they were raw and threw them away. They were well done”

“Templeton’s catered a rehearsal dinner for us on October 2, 2025. We requested the pulled pork potato bar with all the toppings and it did NOT disappoint! The food was delicious and so many guests commented on how good it was. They were extremely easy to work with and accommodating while I had to change some details of how many guests and a timeframe. Josh and Joy were a pleasure, as were the staff who delivered the food. 100% recommend!!!”

“Stopped by for the first time today for salad craving. Recommended by a friend. The little place was clean , the salad bar had ample fresh veggies and toppings, plus eggs, ham, and grilled chicken. I filled my takeout box with enough for 2 big servings with crackers and dressing for just under $10.00. it was delicious and I'll be back”

“One of the best burgers in the area. The restaurant is a little shabby but their health score is a 94. Our burger’s were cooked perfectly and they even toasted the buns. They also have crinkle cut French fries which are our personal favorites. The soft drinks are in cans but they only charge 1 dollar per can. Their prices are very reasonable.”

“My wife and I are ‘pizza-holics’, and this is the place to go for flavor satisfaction, best in this entire area. We’ve seen folks rate Yanni’s lower on the scale for atmosphere and service, yet our opinion is that the general public is just too spoiled. If an Applebees is what you want (fancy schmancy), go there,…. Wait, the one Cookeville used to have closed up long ago. Yanni’s stays with “Home Town”,…not formal and fancy, …just good, and fair, and focused on family and friends. The wait-staff are friendly, thoughtful, and intend to do a good job for the customer. The meal menu specials vary, and are creative. Good conversation is always available there,…and another great point, the background music played is not ‘kid’ oriented. It’s a great mix of music when talent was real, and they keep the volume just right,…enough to appreciate, not too much to be a nuisance. If you haven’t been there, give it a go.”

This place absolutely has some of the best Mexican food we have ever had and if you are looking for a taste of authentic Mexican food this is where you want to go.”

“Smack dab in the middle of middle Tennessee is this little breakfast place in DeRossett. One should never overlook hole-in-the-wall restaurants like this. Comfy atmosphere with great service and great full sized plate breakfasts. Come visit and experience what it's like to feel appreciated by someone who knows how to cook and serve. Loved this place. A great way to start your day!!!”

“Huge Boast! I went through drive thru at Sparta Hardee's this morning and was totally blown away with their breakfast. We ate there yesterday good but nothing like today. I thought they had gotten a new crew cooking. The biscuits were out of this world delicious. Nice, fluffy, tender biscuits, sausage and eggs not overcooked, gravy even had a better taste. I called and spoke with the main manager and commended them on an excellent job. I was told same cooks. Hardee's nailed it this morning! I hope they keep it up because they just proved they can be great and definitely raised the bar on breakfast.”

“This morning I went to this sonic, I ordered and waited. When the carhop came out with my order she was apologizing for the time it took. She stated that there was only her and one more person working. I told her it was fine no problem. Gave her a tip got my food and left. Let me just be honest here for a second. The food I got today was better than anytime I have got food before. Everything was fresh and packed nice and neat, my burger was well put together not falling off the bun. So today I had the BEST experience at sonic even though there was only 2 people working they did a AMAZING job with the orders they were getting. If 2 people can do it why can’t 6-8 people do it? They wanted to take care of there customers….”

Potato soup, calzones, chicken alfredo....and I just ordered the chicken teriyaki tonight that gives the hibachi places a run for their money!! I highly recommend you give them a try, you won't be disappointed! What a great place to have in this town!”

I’ve worked there myself before in the m’ boro and learned a few lesson about myself and hospitality it was A store that had been seasoned with the community as every fast food chain store eventually becomes of course it’s up to everyone. Just my opinion. Like all on here. If you think about this community and that it is growing. Have you noticed the changes? I’m a transplant and see that Sparta is moving into a future. What’s our future” our children” at least they have stepped up to open this store. There is kinks and even cash only days , and cold cheddar and no cream sickle yet but they will learn. We know what it is like we all been there. Give some kind advice and encouragement . Unless some of us adults want to go make beef and cheddar part time!!! I still have to remind my kids to take out the trash. But they got to start somewhere!!! The ARBYS is just the beginning of Sparta is about to see 2022. Yes standard are required teach or future that!”

“The best Taco Bell for at least a hundred miles. I eat taco bell way more than I should, and this one is objectively the best around. It's clean, it's fast, and I think I've only had an order once in the last 10 years or so and they fixed that without any issues. Service is always fast and good, never had an issue here, can't say that about most of them.

It's just a solid taco bell, not much else to say!”
