“Took my Son and Mother in law Saturday morning for breakfast and we absolutely loved the atmosphere felt like grandma's kitchen, service was amazing, we ordered BLT, Bacon,Eggs toast and a Meatlovers omelet it was melt in your mouth good and stomach filling. From book recommendations & sharing photography from Jacob, to Ashley’s fun quirky puns of the day & stories about her cats, to Susan checking in on me every time I come in like the cousin at thanksgiving you are so excited to talk to, to Roger silently making burgers in the back there’s a friend here at Clinchfield Sub Station. They value you coming in and genuinely care for everyone in this little town. Without this restaurant full of good vibes and energy this town would suck a bit. The queso fries are genius and make me happy! The California chicken bacon ranch is sooooo good! But I’m torn between order that or the rodeo burger! Seriously what’s not to love here. It’s helped me get thru the toughest of times in my life. So very thankful for our friends here.”

“Absolutely great barbecue served with amazing sides. Wonderful owners and staff. This was our 1st visit and they brought us samples of the brisket and pork before ordering. The pork was so good my wife ordered it and she usually says she doesn't like pork BBQ. Definitely will be going back and taking friends. Well worth the money, and it is close to home.Parking: During the busiest times, parking may be required on the side street as their parking lot is small. If you plan your visit, parking should not be a problem.”

I usually like plain black coffee (especially their bourbon roast), but appreciate that when I get a flavored coffee or latte here, it still tastes like coffee and not just flavor syrup. “This is just drive thru but it is a treat. The cheddar rounds for breakfast are delicious and locals swear by them. The burgers for lunch are good. The fries have an amazing seasoning that is loved. They have good hotdogs and a ham and cheese. A sliced chicken sandwich is good. Go get yourself some pals. Peachy or razzy tea to wash it down.”

“The Opossum's Tale is a quaint little English Pub in downtown Jonesborough with a lot of charm. The food and service were excellent as well as the drink selection. We had the Fish & Chips as well as the Ploughman's Dinner. It was a great spot for a nice date night with my wife. We would definitely go there again.”

Both the food and the service were exceptional, making our lunch a truly fantastic experience. Tiffany was super nice, helpful and attentive….all the qualities of a great server that’s hard to find these days. We tried the fresh rolls, egg rolls, potstickers, orange chicken and pad ka prow. “Great brewery. Their other location is down in Johnson City. Inside and outside seating. Dog friendly. Lots of area outside to let kids play. Great beer. Has a variety for all taste buds. I had their IPA and it was delicious. The husband had the quad and it was great as well. They have food trucks that come for food and snacks sold inside.Free parking.”

“Was on the road and so excited to find a vegan cafe. Frannie is a gem and her food is home cooked deliciousness! I had Frannie's Ground Round with cowboy beans and the lime slaw, a Big Boi smoothie, and a pineapple cupcake. Everything had great flavor and was very satisfying. This kitchy little coffee shop possesses a vintage charm showcasing a full-size 1940's Whitman's Chocolate refrigerator display cabinet with neatly folded merch for sale. Their menu is replete with brunchy food items, yummy scones, and a nice variety of Java based beverages. However, be aware seating is very limited and it can get quite loud, so depending on the current clientele, a quiet conversation may not be possible. An outside table also provides extra optional seating, weather permitting.”

“Absolutely amazing food!! I am gluten free and I recently ate at an Aubrey's. I had the gluten free rooster grill and it was the best sandwich I have ever had, even compared with sandwiches I had when I was not gluten free. Most gluten free bread ranges from kinda disgusting to tolerable but the bun here was amazing. It tastes like real bread and I had to check and make sure that I got the gluten free option. I will definitely eat here again and recommend it to all my gluten free friends.Dietary restrictions: There is a decent amount of gluten free options. You can also get most things dairy free if you take off the cheese. The staff are very accommodating and knowledgeable, so if you have other dietary restrictions you should definitely ask them.”

“Ate an early lunch, around 10:45AM. My wife and I had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and a side of jalapeño poppers. My parents had fish sandwiches with fries.Everything was extremely good! The popper could have had a little more "kick", but not worth losing a star over! Super-friendly staff and we all loved the seating! Founded in 1960 and I'm so glad they kept it that way!”
