“Had never been. Went for lunch. Sat outside in enclosed porch. Was very comfortable temperature wise. Hubby got the steak sandwich and I got the Philly. BOTH were excellent. I think the onions gave mine the better flavor. Fries were good but the tater tots were better. Was our first time, but it won't be out last. Recommend Old Oak highly”

““A friend recommended “The Whistle Stop” to us and it certainly lived up to its reputation as a must-visit destination for a great steak. The meal was a delight from start to finish, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed the soup, salad, and crackers with cheese dip (which was so good we couldn’t stop eating it!). The fried mushroom caps were also a highlight. The steak itself was cooked to perfection and simply melted in our mouths. To top it all off, we indulged in the blackberry cobbler which was out of this world. We will definitely be returning to “The Whistle Stop” next time we’re in the area.””

“The staff who served us were incredibly neat & kind-hearted, endearing people. We had the greatest conversation with them being the only people there for brunch yesterday and I’m looking forward to being their customer again, as I’ll be moving to the area soon. Dillinger’s has a cozy small-town feel to the place and they’ve done a great job making the space both equally comfortable and inviting. I had the Chicken-Salad sandwich with chips on the side, (every meal comes with potato chips) & a tasty Chai Latte. Perfect spot for breakfast or a late lunch. Pricing is reasonable too.”

“I had all but given up on finding a place in Greenville to eat that we enjoy with delicious food. Then about a month ago while taking a road trip we discovered this gem. We had lunch and it was delicious. I had a cheeseburger and my husband had hamburger steak(he swears it’s the best he’s ever ate). The waitress invited us to come back the next day to try the breakfast and that didn’t disappoint either. We’ve ate there several times and today I tried the Cajun catfish. It was delicious. We are hooked. We definitely have found our dining spot. Thanks Ma & Pas for such a pleasant experience and providing delicious food!”

“The BBQ potato is a staple for me. It's what Thursday nights on NBC was in the 90's and early 2000's - consistently good. Sure, Top Choice has other, good items, but that potato hits me deep in the feels. I'm excited when I get it. It's got the perfect level of smoke. There's plenty of meat.”

“I have been several times, and I have always enjoyed the experience. The food is always good, and if there is ANYTHING wrong, they will make sure it gets fixed very quickly. One time the manager even came over to check on us, even though they were very busy. I will definitely be going back, and I recommend anyone in the area try it out, to keep it simple, the food is good, as is the service, and it's a small town place, probably the best Italian food in Greeneville.”

“We went there with a group of 19 people. They set up a special area for us, which was great! We had a great time with the wait staff, and they were so friendly. We had fun joking with them as well. They were always checking on us to make sure our drinks were topped off, and to see if we needed anything at all.The food was awesome, and the prices are unbeatable. They are cash-only, so be aware of that when you go there. We will definitely be going back there again soon!”

“Very warm and relaxing atmosphere. We had coffee, cinnamon bun, and a apple turnover. The coffee was very good and smooth, the cinnamon bun, we asked them to warm it and add icing. Let me tell you that icing is out of this world. The apple turnover was good as well.”

“Had a great brunch. Service was excellent by Sydny! Food was great. We had salads, appetizer pizza, queso spinach dip and got the 1/2 bottle of pinto noir for a Saturday special. Weather was perfect for outdoors too.”

“This place has the best food in greene county. Yes there is a long wait, but there usually a drive-thru backed up to the road. All I can say is. It's very much worth the wait. I love their big pal with bacon and their French fries are omgsh I love them.”

“Small building which used to be a gas filling station and auto repair shop. When the weather is fitting the garage doors are opened. Table and chairs on the inside with picnic tables outside. A permanent food truck is located in the corner of the lot which blocks the car lights from the oncoming traffic. Not a lot of parking is available close to the property but a lot is available within 40 yards. Large selection of beer. A great place to meet old friends or make new ones. Trivia started on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. 9/23 they are keeping a good selection of beer. Went down Sunday night and closed it down at 8 pm. The cinnamon was not to my taste but the smell was great.”

“I always love going into Peggy Ann's! The luscious smells of fresh baked goodies is so satisfying! The staff is very professional and they are always serving me with a friendly smile! All the goodies are reasonably priced and so fresh and delicious! I love to pick up treats for various people and I see everyone who receives gets that look of Oh! Boy! Peggy Ann's! I have personally treated, my bookkeeper, Hardin Park Engineering Dept., Advance Auto Clerk, upholsterer, various people who need a coffee break in their day and a little reminder of their kindness given to others!”

“Went here last night March 22 I had the tropical salmon, it was great, never tasted anything like it before, this was first time I heard about it. My girlfriend had the enchiladas She said they were really good. Margaritas were awesome. Service was pretty good never caught the waitress name but she checked on us often and was nice. Gonna bring the family back soon”
