“We came here for my nieces birthday, and then again on my birthday within the same month and OMG, the crab pork dumplings are the star of the show, they’re so delicious and the spicy orange chicken was so good too. Everything we tried was delicious, 10/10“

“Hello Dumpling is the place to go for dumplings in Dallas. The food is consistently delicious, the service is wonderful, simplified, and quick, and everything about the place reflects the effortlessly cool vibe of East Dallas. High recommendation!“

“Let me tell you this place passes the vibe check. The playlist they had playing was so fire. I also loved that their was a DJ that came in later to turn the place up. I went on a Sunday around Brunch time. The Bartender was so fire! He made out drinks super fast and overall was just cool. I also loved that there was this secret looking room in the back. This spot is just overall dope. I will be going back!“

“This place has really good Peking duck, fried rice, and some wasabi marinate mushrooms. Can't complain, everything I had was great and the fact that the food came out quick was even better. Service is quick and the place is generally not that packed.“

“I got noodle with beef. In terms of portion, it’s more than enough, so don’t worry about it. The noodle itself was fine (combined with sprouts, onion, and green beans). However, I didn’t like the beef in it.As starter, they brought a starter (some kind of chips) with special sauces which I really liked.“

“I’m surprised there are so few dim sum places in Dallas. With that in mind, this is an okay dim sum place. They have a small menu with okay service. It gets pretty busy around 12pm on a weekend. So come earlier like 11am and you’ll get a seat right away.I personally prefer cart service dim sum, not this place’s menu. You tick off items on a menu. And their menu is quite small. They don’t have plain cheung fun (rice noodles) for example. Some of their items are a bit strange like fried turnip cake with XO sauce. The fried turnip is cut into small cubes, not a large slab like I’m used to. They also have sesame balls but with lava custard inside not sesame or red bean paste. They do have the classics like har gao (shrimp dumplings) and siu mai (pork dumplings). And some of the items like lava custard buns and vegetarian cheung fun were sold out, which is strange given how early we were there.Service wise, they’re just okay. It took a while to get people’s attention, and they weren’t super busy. The server robots are cool, but they don’t seem to be used for dim sum which is served by hand like at other sit down restaurants.Overall, it’s okay. I’d come back purely because it’s close and because there aren’t many dim sum options in Dallas.“

“This place is pretty good for Chinese & Chinese inspired food. My family & I had the roast duck and crispy noodles with seafood. Not to mention we had a variety of dim sum, which they offer all day! If you’re looking into dim sum, I suggest ordering a few then ordering more if needed. All of our orders were made fresh. Please keep in mind that not all staff are fluent in English, but their work ethic is good. Staff was kind enough to give us a gift card since we paid our bill full in cash; it was worth 10% of our total bill. Will definitely swing by again when we’re around the area. After all, we have a gift card to use lol“
