“Totally legit! Owner’s family is from ShanDong Province. I am ShanDong too. They have a Taiwan touch to the food. My fam from Taiwan too. Don’t say it’s not authentic (it’s northern only and not exactly Beijing…but BJ is the capitol and has it all, right?) It is legit northern Chinese food. Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) excellent…best in town—-you have to ask for the ginger and vinegar sauce, so ask for the ginger and vinegar sauce! Za Jiang Mien (Peking meat noodle) spot on, really best in DFW (and I have had it everywhere). Beef noodle soup authentic with a lot of beef and the correct bok choy (that is important)—we make this, so trust me ingredients are right! Shrimp zucchini dumplings awesome… we ate one pan fried version there, ordered another serving, and took another serving home—this ostensibly is a US twist but dang good. Pork bao with a lot of meat and delectable. Spinach and peanut cold veggie—-lots of garlic the right northern amount—-I have never thought to do it with spinach and peanuts—-creative. Try the Korean Galbi-jjim (spicy braised short-ribs) - bone falling tender and so delicious! K-Pop Chicken was awesome too!
