“The staff was really responsive. I took myself out for a solo dinner. This was my first time dining at this location. It was a busy Friday night. Ordered the Mongolian Trio with Lo mein. I also ordered a Cherry Blossom Martini. The martini was sweet. If you don't like sweet, it's not for you. The food was served sizzling hot. It was great until I found this black thing, that wasn't edible, I'm my food. I alerted my server who apologized and went to get her manager. The manager came to my table, saw the object in my plate and apologized. He asked if I wanted something else to eat. I told him I would like a fresh order without said object. He said absolutely, and that he would have the kitchen rush the order. He also took 50% of the bill. The second order was sizzling hot when it reached my table. It was a little salty but it was fresh and objectless. The saltiness is why I gave the food 4 stars.“

“I visited this Panda last week Saturday and Sunday.(9/8&9/9) This lady,I first interacted with was magnificent and greeted me .I didn't get her name, but she was short, polynesian/ Asian. She was serving the rice and noodles. The line was long and she perfected her job. She directed 2 separate lines; one line for customers waiting to pay ,and the other line for ordering. She had a system. My flight was delayed and came back on Sunday. This time she was working harder. The line was longer than Saturday. I sat at the bar watching this woman work. I felt bad for her because she did not receive help from her co-workers. I am a restaurant owner ,and I would like to compliment her hard work. I heard several customers complimenting her such as " You're a super woman" , "You're doing it all" , "Wow, you're fast", " Are you by yourself?", " They should be helping you"... This lady continued serving. I hope she gets recognized , she is good. It is hard to find good workers nowadays. Thank you Lady for serving me,and may God bless you.“

“This place is great ! I am a huge fan of their sesame chicken and the spicy tenders! The menu seems weird at first, but give it a try, you will not be disappointed. I know it is a chicken place but the fish and chips are really good as well. Everyone there seems to enjoy what they do and it shows in the great tasting food.

“I went to this place for the 1st time. It's a take out type of restaurant meaning you will not be eating there. I ordered orange chicken because I have been craving it. I ordered it extra crispy and with fried rice. When I got home it wasn't crispy at all and it came with white rice. I also ordered egg drop soup and it had no flavor. The egg rolls were good. The beef mongolian noodles were good. I might give it one more try without ordering the soup and maybe order something different.“

Ok so what i got the first time was sesame chicken, crab rangoon, garlic broccoli, fried biscuits and some rice. You can tell that they make everything fresh and home made here. Just now I got some egg rolls for the first time and you can tell they make them themselves. I literally cannot rave enough about this place.“

“We were in town staying at a nearby hotel and was wanting Chinese food. My husband agreed to go out and pick up the order. We ordered online and found the process smooth and seamless.
Here is what we ordered:

2 quart sized honey chicken meals and got the fried rice with one and shrimp fried rice with the other. The honey chicken tastes like orange chicken with a hint of honey. Not very sticky or flavorful.
I give it a 7/10

My husband ordered some wonton soup and said it needed some green onions or something to add flavor. He said it was a good size and was a nice proportion of broth and noodle dumpling. He said it was a 7/10

The rice was yellow (thought it would be brownish due to soy sauce) and wasnt bad but didn’t have much flavor. I added duck sauce to try to spruce it up. The shrimp fried rice seemed like the shrimp was cooked separate from the rice. It was not incorporated well into the rice and didnt have a lot of flavor or seasoning. Just nice sized pink shrimp in rice (that werent deveined). I give the rice a 6/10

The best thing were the eggrolls. Although they were a bit salty they did have flavor and were crispy and good. I give the eggrolls a 8/10

Everything was hot and fresh but I dont know if I were ever in town Id order again from Lui’s Kitchen.

We moved to Texas from another state that had extremely good Chinese food so maybe our bar is high. I say try it for yourself. You may like it.

“If you are looking for the flavor of the old school chinese resturant. This is the place. Imagine a $9.25 Lunch Buffet, that has egg rolls, slamming Lo Mein, and the best flavored sesame chicken i had in years. I went at 2 pm, so the pickings were slim, but delicious. I felt I got my moneys worth, and a great, satisfying meal. This is an icon of Oak Cliff. Decor a little dated, but excellent food for a lunch takeout. Also the Mongolian beef and onions was superb! I I purchased a pre-made sandwich & requested extra lettuce & tomatoes normally because I am a regular & considered a valued guest lettu& tomatoes were offered complimentary. But, the general manager do not see me as a valued guest. He insisted I pay for extra lettuce & tomatoes. I felt insulted & disrespected by his condescending tone. “Good morning, I placed an order yesterday evening. Grubhub delivered on time. The only problem is that my order was for CHICKEN LO MEIN. I'm not sure why my food was chicken lo mein mixed with shrimp and beef strips. All I wanted was CHICKEN LO MEIN like I've ordered in the past.

“Just moved back to Dallas after 26 years and was looking for a good Chinese dine-in restaurant. I had lunch at Howard Wang's today and immediately fell in love. Ambiance was a great vibe - low volume smooth jazz that allowed for quiet conversation. Food actually had AMAZING flavor (we just moved back from Boca Raton FL where I call everything Boca Bland). Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. This will be a weekly regular with extra orders to go to tide me over until the next weekly visit!!!“
