“Dinner was delicious. We had the short rib pasta and the bolognese (our favorite). Bread pudding desert was a great finale. They have live piano music on Fri and Sat. Paco, our server, was friendly and excellent so you will be in good company if you get him. Restaurant is decorated nicely and tables were spaced appropriately. If you love Italian, you will be happy you came here.“

For my entree, I ordered the Maine Lobster, and that was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had. The lobster was so savory. For appetizer, we ordered rolls and calamari, and both tasted really good! The calamari was on the sweeter side. For sides, we got truffles fries and mashed potatoes. I enjoyed both. For my birthday dessert, they brought out baked Alaska which had a great presentation. This location was beautiful! He (Isaac) also facilitates a food tour as well and has a love for trying different locations, and has been in Dallas much of his life, so I easily accepted the suggestion . . . and glad I did. “This place is where you need to be when it comes to great food and customer service. Jermaine our waiter was amazing. He suggested great food and we ordered it. It was everything he said it would be. Edgar the manager was truly the best. He came to make sure we enjoyed our food and made us feel at home. “Food is always outstanding. Service past two times has been disappointing. The wait persons that we have had past two times seem to forget about us. At times items we have ordered are not brought. They seem to favor other tables. That has been an issue when they sit us on the left side of the restaurant. When we have sat at the main hall service seems to be far more attentive. It appears the they assign less experienced wait staff to that left corner section. It is as if they are in training. Our lesson is that in the future we will request to sit in main hall. When you dine at this restaurant, a Dallas institution, you pay top dollar for high quality food and service, you should expect and get that. If we are going to get a wait person that is inexperienced or in training, maybe we should get a training discount. It has been disappointing lately. I am giving the restaurant 4 stars because the food and ambiance are excellent, but if we continue to have disappointing service in the future, we might not be as accommodating.“

“Trendy fish place with decent offerings. Dropped in as an alternative to Montlake - our go to seafood spot - and found it packed early on a Thursday afternoon. Seated at the bar after a short wait. The seafood was good but we preferred Montlake for selection. The scene was happening though so that is a plus. Just be sure to make reservations.“

“High end restaurant that actually met expectations. I came here on a Monday night for a business dinner. Valet parking was easy to use and the rate was $5 up to three hrs, and $15 for three hrs or more. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and exactly what you expect of a high end establishment. For our appetizers we had the seafood tower and calamari. The seafood tower was underwhelming, especially the very small oysters used. The calamari on the other hand was delicious and it had a Thai flavor that accentuated the dish. I started my meal with the lobster bisque and the soup was outstanding. I wish the lobster pieces were a little bigger, but overall the soup was top three all time for me. They do pour the soup over the lobster table side, which is a nice touch. For my entree I had the New York strip with a blue cheese crust. The steak was perfectly cooked, but the crust was a bit overdone. I would have preferred a cheesier texture over the crunchier option they use here. We tried numerous sides throughout the meal and the spinach was the star. The brussel sprouts were pretty bland and the asparagus was thin compared to other high end restaurants. Service overall was good and the staff were very attentive. The bar drinks were inconsistent with heavy pours one round and light pours the others. Overall this is a restaurant I would recommend if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion. The opportunities I witnessed are outweighed by the great ambiance and good food.“

To our surprise, the pickle in the table was not decoration but edible. And it tasted pretty good. We tried Wayu tomahawk steak, mixed green salad, sautéed spinach and mushroom. All tasted fantastic. The steak was tender, perfect seasoning, perfect amount of fat. The mixed green salad was fresh and tasty. The dessert was fantastic too. This place was always busy. Calamari is well cooked and the dips it is accompanied by complement the flavors well. For my meal I had the salmon entree with crawfish tails and shrimp. The sauce this entree comes with is the star of the dish. The salmon was cooked well, but the portion size seemed off and smaller than a normal entree at most locations. The green beans side is fairly bland, unless you mix with the sauce on the plate. Service was on point and I never had to wait for a drink. Great spot to grab a bite before a flight. I've never experienced before.Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions, just ask the white staff and if they don't know, they will go get a manager who will know and if not, then just ask for Dion, he is one of the managers there and is absolutely knowledgeable.
