“I went to Namak Indian cuisine place two weeks ago and it was very tasty. Service is always great and the music does need to be changed to Bollywood instead of lounge music. I visited on a very cold day during January and it was a bit of a challenge because every time someone would walk in the door the breath of cold would come inside in the restaurant. The dishes were mouthwatering, but acidic.“

The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“I loved this restaurant when I first ate here 28 years ago. I moved away but was in Dallas last night so I made a reservation and it was even more amazing than I remembered. The service was impeccable. Our waiter Charlie was amazing and recommended the best wine pairings but the food… ah the food…. Let’s just say if I ever have a “last meal” I would want it to be this. I got the champagne Brie soup, the Filet Rossini and flourless chocolate cake. Each bite was perfection. Seriously, one of the best meals of my life. Hope it doesn’t take another 28 years to return. The steak, from their own ranch, was probably the tastiest I’ve ever had. We’re still talking about that cornbread. The dining room was a lovely space, and it wasn’t too loud. The waitstaff were very hospitable.“

We grabbed a couple seats at the bar and immediately took to people watching. This is definitely a neighborhood hotspot, and for good reason. Lots of laughter. Folks clearly having a good time. I could totally imagine a regular here, literally knowing EVERYBODY in the place. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and my beautiful bride, a Cabernet. Our tenders, Samantha and Maddie were attentive and quick to deliver. Not an easy task with so many folks around. Iamyu of House of Frequency Records was spinning the vinyl with righteous tunes that kept the toes tapping all night. So fun tonight, and now... we're off. “my husband and myself enjoyed and early dinner today at the Dallas location. We had the best waitress named LuLu. Her service was so fast and she was so attentive. I had the tortilla soup and the bowl was huge. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fajita nachos and we shared some queso and tortillas of course and it was all fantastic. Can't forget about the frozen margaritas, they were the perfect compliment to our dinner. This location treats us wonderfully everytime we come.“

Massive FRONT patio which has a great street view.

Food: wings are humongous and fries are homemade and seasoned amazingly. Fish and chips are battered a whole different way that Will give you life.

Our bartender, Courtney, was a gem. She poured us up some amazing drinks that I wouldn't expect to have at a tavern.
