“Burger I ordered sounded good from what was in it, but it the flavor didn’t really jump out at me when I dug in. Can’t remember the name. It was the number 4. Onion rings were good, I think they could have used more of the seasoning but I like them that way.“
“Love Snuffers! This location was good! Our server was super friendly and when we got there they were having a music bingo night which was fun. Was a little confused at first as to what was going on but it ur server explained it to us and we joined in.I had one of their specialty long islands and it was delicious! Not a fan of LI’s but this one was very enjoyable.I had the patty melt and cheese fries and they were delicious. Patty melt patty was cooked like I asked and not over done.Great location, can’t wait to come back“
“Impressive location!(all Chilis are not equal, another chain that I usually stay away from). However, the Mesquite Texas location is the best. The food was hot, restraunt clean, impressed that the team was conscious about cross contamination (the waitress took order, someone else delivered food, someone name Pedro kept helping out)! The restroom was clean and they passed the French Fry test“
“Emma was our server and did an absolute perfect job. We go to the one in Forney all the time but I wanted a change. We were astonished by the level of service shown. We came Monday evening around 6pm. My mother joined us for dinner and accidentally knocked over her drink, not but 3 seconds later Emma was on top of it. Our daughters food came out 1st which also showed that they cared. I would recommend this place to everyone. Phenomenal service. Lots of seating, wheelchair accessible, outside dining.“
“We are new to the area and have found one of our favorite places! We always sit at the bar or cocktail and Cody is amazing! Food is incredible and service is perfect! Tonight, there was a small hiccup with our meal. I wouldn’t even call it a hiccup but Cody saw it and made it a big deal to make sure we were happy. We left happy….and very full. Can’t wait to go back!“
“Gotta say we we're pleasantly surprised. Stopped in for lunch yesterday. I had the German dog, and it was excellent. My wife had the cheeseburger, and she really enjoyed it also. We will definitely be going back. The atmosphere is really cool and the bar is huge.“
“While visiting from South Texas. We decided to relax at our Air BnB and have our food delivered (especially after driving 6+hours) The Flying Saucer has a lot of excellent items to choose from. But, what really impressed me= was the EXCELLENT customer service. I had a few questions, and Nikki was so friendly and understanding. I definitely recommend the Flying Saucer.“
“First off I must say this is one of my favorite spots in lake highland, everytime I get off work I have to come over and enjoy a nice app or drink, the bartenders are always great. Ricky was my bartender this particular day and he gave me the best drink choices. He was so friendly and down to earth and I ended up spilling my whole life story to him. But that’s what happens when you build that connection with your customer. Excellent food, excellent service, and amazing drinks always! Oh yeah! The music is EVERYTHING!!! Love the diverse playlist, I was singing all evening. They just need to add karaoke here. I’ll be back for sure, as always!“
“This restaurant is by far the GREATEST establishment I have ever been to. I've been dining almost weekly for a solid year and have nothing but exceptional things to say. There are a handful of bartenders who I know by name that know exactly what I drink and eat the moment I walk in. The prices are typically fair and what is deemed as "expensive" is actually worth it. The day and brunch times are usually very busy but well managed. Even if you're NOT in the area, I HIGHLY recommend. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.“
“I LOVE this place, the owners Randy & Cindy are such good people, & the bartendersAmber, April, & Shae are the best. The customers... WOW!! Such great peopleHighly recommend if you're looking for a fun place with the true Texas friendliness that us Texans are known for.“
“Had been really hankering for a chicken fried steak so I stopped in. Portions were huge and the food was great. John was awesome and made sure I had everything I needed. If you haven't been inside since the restaurant opened, I highly recommend it!“
“Fantastic place. Nicest Eagles i have ever been to. Stopped by on road trip from norfolk to dallas. Miss Mary and Armando were awesome. Gave us a FOE plate for free with promise to send one back when we got home. Which we will do this weekend. Nice to meet yall !“
“This place becomes the madhouse for raw pool hall players. Its a vibe here, where the music keeps you in the groove, and you'll just stay all night. The folks who share the space with you enjoy dancing, street tacos, and speedy bar service that wants you to feel as good as the rest of the place. The sticks are in good shape. The tables are smooth enough to keep the balls rolling with easy shooting strength. You'll have a good time.Just bring your good game.“
“Food, service, and ambiance were all 5 stars! We were on our way somewhere else and decided to try out BarNone's brunch. The mimosas were offered with lots of different juices ( pomegranate, peach, mango, and guava were our faves ) and the food was chefs kissSmashed potatoes, the sausage, the eggs: all delicious. But honestly our service may have been the best thing about the experience Darryl had such a great energy. He was able yo provide good suggestions and even better conversation. Can't wait to go back and try some different menu items :)“
“I've only been here a few times and mainly for karaoke night, but the owners are extremely friendly and seem to truly care about their clientale and welcome you back when you show up. The staff is the same way and very friendly and go out of their way to learn your name. There is a mixture of old and young here, and beside having a good food menu, there are darts and pool tables for fun and games, and an outside patio. The only downside is that it is not a "smoke-free" establishment, so when there is a large crowd, the smoke is quite noticable! But I would still come back again, just not frequently! The place is a lot bigger on the inside than it appears from outside as it is located in the corner of the shopping strip.“
“It's been a VERY long time since I've closed a bar and I had no intentions of doing it last night. BUT... I had such an AMAZING time I just couldn't leave!! I had the most fun I've had in years!! And I met some really great people and made new friends. I love this place!!JUST SO YOU KNOW...It's $5 to get in and they ONLY TAKE CASH. There is an ATM inside if you need it.Kid-friendliness: MUST BE 21 TO ENTER“
“This restaurant is a neighborhood restaurant. For some people you could actually walk to it like I did. Their menu has simple variety of good tasting dishes and few that are not that great. Prices are not bad. Try it out and find which plates are good and which ones not so good.“
“Our food has always been consistently delicious. Pizza is nice and crispy! Service is always friendly, attentive and prompt. All their salads are delicious. My husband loves their pasta dishes, he says it has flavorful (I am not big on pasta). Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!“
“We had a very nice time at Jazz TX. We had a few drinks, enjoyed a meal, and the band was good. We even got in a few dances. I hope to come back a little more regular. The bartender is not a craft bartender so don’t expect fancy drinks. Stay as basic as possible. I had the nachos with everything and wished I had stuck with just chicken would have been better for me than beef and chicken. My husband enjoyed his sandwich and onion rings. The food is decent bar food. Again, don’t expect anything fancy. You’re bound to have a good time. Also, there are many people that come here on a regular basis.“
“OMG really can't believe that it's still open. This is a good thing, this was at one time years back fav place to go drink. Great friends and good cold beer. Linda owned this place when we were going here. Here's to ya'll hope you guys have a nice time as we did.“
“When I moved to Dallas in 1989 I lived in the apartments next door. It was The Office Lounge back in those days. We had a band and they would let us play on Sunday night for free beer. The Goat is a cool happening place. I really miss it since I moved 420 miles south. I have a good audio recording of us jamming there in 1990. My old drummer J. W. Hammett was really good about recording our jams. It takes me back to the "good ole days". Since Schooners is long gone and the whole area has changed The Goat is probably the coolest bar in the area. Last year I met an awesome harmonica player named Kirk from Alaska. He spends at least one month every winter in Port Aransas. Somewhere along his travels he had jammed at The Goat...it's a small world....peace out....“
“Our bartender Marshall was just fabulous. He took care of the whole place by himself and with such ease nobody was waiting long for anything at all. Awesome recommendations for food and his drinks were top notch! We will be back just to see Marshall!“
“Came here on a Sunday, the vibe is chill but upbeat. We had the gumbo, not too thick not too watery & dense in flavor soo good! Buffalo wings better than most bars. & kitchen open late. They also have gambling slots that payout cash if you win & lots of pool tables ?“
“I'm not a hater so I'm not gonna post a bad review I can tell it's fairly new. I came in for lunch and they had one server and I can tell the owners of the place were in handling some business they were nice. I ordered takoyaki it was decent. I didn't go for the ramen it was lunch time and I didn't want to be waking around all full and tired so I went for the Japanese fried rice choice of chicken beef and shrimp or combination. I asked if I can do a pork belly instead of the other choices, without hesitation she said NO. I was a bit taken back because what ramen place doesn't have a traditional pork belly bowl, you serve pork belly with the ramen. Anyways that's my only complain because I sat at the bar by the kitchen and I heard one of them customizing an order. If it was extra I wouldn't care that's how most ramen place operate. Other than that food was good and like I said place looked new for the owners to be putting in work. In due time hope more is added to the menu.“
“They have a nice $5.00 shuffleboard tournament every Tuesday. I don't think the bar matches the pot and it's mostly older folks but it's really fun and emotional to play. They also have 2 pool tables. Some weekends they have live music, I think they have cornhole on Fridays. Looked like some of them played like “
“This is a great little neighborhood bar. The bartenders are all fabulous. I was looking for a place to go as a woman alone and not get hassled. This was the place. During the football games, the jukebox is off and you can hear the game. The pool tables are in good shape and it's easy to find someone to play with.“
“Hung out the Saturday before St. Patrick's day and the weather was a little chilly. Doors weren't open, but it's a cool feature during the summer. The DJ was a little loud for the space, but no one seemed to mind. Waitress was attentive and training at the same time. There is a pool table and a good view of the square and water. Fun space.“
“My wife and I went for the Wednesday $12.99 Chicken Fajita special. We also had the elote dip for $8.99 which seemed a tad expensive but was very good. The chicken fajita came with beans, rice, tortillas and all the fixings. The portion size was perfect. For service, we would give 100 stars if er could. Our server, Vinny, was extremely helpful and very sweet. She made sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed. She really goes above and beyond. Other waitstaff as well as the manager checked on us. The staff here is the best we ever experienced and we will be back just to see Vinny!“
