“Great little old school spot. The food is great, the drinks are reasonable and the music is on point. I always enjoy myself when I go here. My only complaint is that their service can be slow if it gets busy. However, I have never been disappointed with my food or my visits. The staff have been friendly and attentive. Make you grab a table because it can get busy. One of my favorite places.“

“We walked in to pick up a to go order and were warmly greeted. The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“In a touring band that played this venue yesterday. I will say the load-in up the outdoor staircase was BRUTAL, but everything else was quite good! The venue itself was in good condition, with a good PA and kind/helpful staff. The house sound engineer, Kevin, went above and beyond to accommodate the tour's audio setup and nitpicks, and fully delivered.

Not sure how many starts to give for "food" because there was none.“

“The place was pretty empty, but it was mid week around 2p. The menu shows there's a happy hour for food starting at 2p but the waitress told us there's no HH menu when we tried to order. We showed her the menu via the QR code you scanned, but she said she's never seen it. The wings were really good. Service was good, but near the end, we had to go to the bar to ask for drinks we ordered that we never got and go back to ask for our check. Again, the place was pretty empty about 5 total customers. I think they sometimes get caught up talking to regulars and forget about other customers.
Overall, I'd go back. Go try it out!

“This is my favorite place to hang out at other than my home. Very eclectic and inclusive crowd. You will meet the most interesting people from all walks of life here, which actually makes it a great place to network. There is a different “theme” every night, with DJs that play everything from punk to ‘90s hip hop and r&b to classic funk to house, and much more. Sometimes there are pop-ups with a vendor selling vintage clothing or art. The bartenders are quick and friendly, and the prices are affordable. Free parking lot right outside, and if you get there before 10pm you might find a covered spot. Karaoke on Fridays gets very crowded, so come before 10:30 if you want to sign up to sing. A great place for creative or hipster types to meet people. Just don’t have sex in the bathrooms.“

“What a beautiful establishment! It’s eclectic with a Spanish Flare. Hector the bartender is quite a mixologist and a great conversationalist. He recommended many things to try. We tried the spicy Cesar salad…. AMAZING ??‼️

“I attended a show last night and it was amazing! For the first night of JOJO JAM, created by Jodie Ellen, it was a great turnout. The live band played fantastic covers of some of music’s greatest hits, with their own much-enjoyed twist. Local artist and vendor Tyrone Montgomery, formerly known as TDashMo, was in charge of the food, and it was awesome.
The bar itself was clean, and the restrooms had amazing posters and stickers, so there was no need to bring a magazine. The DJ kept the night grooving by playing hits that complemented the band’s era of music and never missed a beat.
The JOJO event is a weekly event at the bar, so I look forward to enjoying another night of great music, live performances, and delicious food.“

“This is a great pub. It's farely new. The decor, atmosphere and food selections are great. The beer selection is broad and even includes mixed beer varieties. The cordials and cocktails are plenty. “Had my brother and SNL in town. I'm trying to understand how this place even exists. The hotel is Old and smells like sewage inside and out. Started out @ the Waterproof. Completely overrated nothing special about this place besides its overpriced drinks. However my reason for this post is for Bourbon & Banter. We ordered the Smoked bourbon Meatballs. When it was placed on the table. I immediately smelled dog food. I tasted a bite of the meatball and the texture of it was not right at all. At this point I'm really wondering is this dog food. Waiter came over and I said "no disrespect, but this taste and smells like Dog food. He said I don't make the meatballs, but I will take it off your ticket. I thought that was odd, because I didn't ask him nothing like that. I'm concerned about this treatment and will be contacting the proper people so this doesn't happen again. Especially when I spend my hard earned dollars just to come out wondering what I just ate.“

“Had the pleasure of visiting last night before the Air concert at Fair Park. Very nice place! Chill, nice patrons and workers, including the owner, Richard, who I had the pleasure of meeting. Lots of beers to choose from (#2 - El Chivo was my favorite), including some nice grub options to chow down before the show (I went with the good ole quesadilla and salad). I'm really starting to like this area of Fair Park and knowing there's a cool place like this where I can sit back and kick my feet up will definitely make me visit the area more.“

“Good neighborhood hole in the wall. DJ Playing all kinds of music. Live Tejano/Spanish type music on Saturdays. Very casual dress code. Bring your own liquor bottle as they only serve beer and set ups. Need about 1 or 2 more restrooms. Front patio. Clientele is more of the blue collar type of people. Not to bad of a place. Hardly ever any drama there since the crowd is mostly 35 and up.“
