“Honestly I didnt stay long I had really been looking for a good dark bar to just sit and soak in the atmosphere. My dad was a bouncer at these type bars so this bar gave me so much so much nostalgia. The smell of cigarettes, the dark room regulars just chit chatting. They had a jukebox, pool and darts. It really gives you that old fashion bar feeling I've been missing. I had a few jack and cokes and the bartender was very quick and friendly. I didnt catch her name but she had long blonde hair in a ponytail. I did go in as soon as they opened so im sure it wouldn't be as quiet and calm in the evening but it was just what I needed to feel like I was just chilling and having a drink with my dad.“

“A fantastic, iconic blues dive filled with the most welcoming a group of people you'll ever find. I went there on a Thursday night to sit and listen to the blues jam, and although I did not bring I guitar with me from Oklahoma City, they found one for me to play. That allowed me two get up and do a few tunes with the band. The jam host Pete was on top of it. And ran a great blues jam.“

“We just had the most wonderful experience at Hillside Tavern. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was chill enough that we were able to bring our 11-year-old niece to eat with us. This is the best Friday night date: Excellent steak, great drink prices, and that dance floor is perfect for a show like CT Davis.“

“I've been going to Willie g's for years and that is a great spot to lounge at when you get off of work and you just want some down time. They have several TVs, affordable beverages and a smoke room in the back and there's also a large patio out in front. The owner steel has been my friend for years. A good dude 😎 solid“

“I came here thinking it was a bar, it was attached to the Alamo draft house but it was still cool to visit! I didn’t get the bartenders name but he was so chill and nice to talk to. Will definitely be coming back maybe to see a movie and have a drink as well!“

“my husband and myself enjoyed and early dinner today at the Dallas location. We had the best waitress named LuLu. Her service was so fast and she was so attentive. I had the tortilla soup and the bowl was huge. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fajita nachos and we shared some queso and tortillas of course and it was all fantastic. Can't forget about the frozen margaritas, they were the perfect compliment to our dinner. This location treats us wonderfully everytime we come.“
