“I always come here since like 2 years ago and the vibes are always chill. I enjoy the prices and the crowd that goes is older which I prefer. You don't really see people sloppy here or starting fights or anything everyone minds their own business and doesn't really cause problems. You see a lot of regulars here and you can shoot some pool with friends. They also have slot machines and darts. I really come here because of the crowd.“

“Honestly I didnt stay long I had really been looking for a good dark bar to just sit and soak in the atmosphere. My dad was a bouncer at these type bars so this bar gave me so much so much nostalgia. The smell of cigarettes, the dark room regulars just chit chatting. They had a jukebox, pool and darts. It really gives you that old fashion bar feeling I've been missing. I had a few jack and cokes and the bartender was very quick and friendly. I didnt catch her name but she had long blonde hair in a ponytail. I did go in as soon as they opened so im sure it wouldn't be as quiet and calm in the evening but it was just what I needed to feel like I was just chilling and having a drink with my dad.“

“my husband and myself enjoyed and early dinner today at the Dallas location. We had the best waitress named LuLu. Her service was so fast and she was so attentive. I had the tortilla soup and the bowl was huge. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fajita nachos and we shared some queso and tortillas of course and it was all fantastic. Can't forget about the frozen margaritas, they were the perfect compliment to our dinner. This location treats us wonderfully everytime we come.“

“I hosted an event last month in Birdie's Lounge space - a separate room with a bar and comfy seating and a heated outdoor patio if needed. The space comfortably held around 20 people. Events Manager Alice Balensiefen was terrific to work with and very understanding when my group needed to postpone our event by one week due to the winter storm. We had a dedicated bartender which made ordering drinks and food seamless. Full array of liquor and wine and beer taps along the wall make service a breeze; the bartender did not have to outsource drinks from the larger restaurant bar. My group only dined on appetizers so I cannot speak to the rest of the menu but everyone was pleased with the flavors, portion sizes, and pricing. We did not use the heated patio but looking outside could see Birdie's outdoor seating spaces are very kid-friendly. Plenty of on-site parking. Overall, I and many others in my group expressed interest in returning to Birdie's for a full meal. Many thanks to the staff for the lively, welcoming atmosphere. Birdie's Eastside is a gem!“

“The security got over on me and my boyfriend he charges us 20 each to get in he says then says he just going to charge my boyfriend 20 and let me in free only if we're going to drink , when actually he was supposed to let us in free he was charging us for security service which isn't our job he was rude arrogant and disrespectful SECURITY ISNT SUPPOSED TO CHARGE BUT THEY CAN JUST FYI ....I didn't argue nor did my boyfriend because he could have lied to the owner and got us banned“

I brought it to the managers attention and he just became argumentative, and said this is what his customers want. No problem, we won't be back.“
