Yummy food options and service. Love their Frozen Blood Orange Marg. Plenty of vegan & vegetarian options. Fun ambiance, loud music, and family friendly. Great spot for small or larger gatherings.
I admit that I never went to the Luby's on Mockingbird, I was intrigued about the redo and new spot Birdie's that took its place. I drive into the huge parking lot and was shocked how full it was. I did snag a space in the back. I thought the restaurant was going to be packed. Outside, it was, 45 minute wait and lots of kids, Inside was immediate seating and not busy at all. Perfect!! Came here for lunch on Good Friday not realizing how many people had the day off. This place was packed, but we were seated pretty quickly (apparently the hostess couldn't actually seat people, thus causing a back up). It was quite breezy, but the outdoor seating area was nice. Terf with an overhang blocking the morning sun, and an area specifically for children to play.
