Been here several times on wed. for swing dancing -no partner required. Great crowd, and excellent instruction. Several times group has had live music and groups have always been great. Have not frequented the bar, but it seems a cozy place with friendly serviceParking: There are a few spots near hall, but predominately street, and most of that meetered. Went to see Johnny Steven's. Great time staff was more than helpful to me and my group as we needed accommodations. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good time. Will be going back.

Came here for a Dallas Tiki Week event and I enjoyed the venue. It's intimate, warm, and has welcoming historic vibes to it. The bartender was friendly, generous, and accommodated my drink request. Overall, I would visit again for another event. The actual event ("variety" show) was horrible and I would not recommend that but since Sons of Hermann Hall only rented the train wreck event space I hope to visit again for another event experience.
