“Thank you Abriana for the wonderful service! We greatly appreciate you working with us on the seating arrangements -- some seats in the restaurant are definitely too noisy. You jumped right on it and found us a great spot by the back. Thanks again! Oh and the food was good too. ;)“

“Came to Smithy on a Saturday with a large group. We didn’t have any reservations but were able to be sat quickly.Josh was our waiter and was exceptional. We were there for a birthday, and had two young children with us, and Josh did a great job accommodating both the children and the birthday.Food was great, drinks were great, and dessert was massive.Dishes of note: Tots Poutine, Luke’s chicken, and the enormous hula pie.Overall it was an exceptional outing, and we’ll be back soon. Thanks Josh!“

“You cannot beat Als for steaks and high quality food. I have been going there since they opened. Suggest you sit in the bar for fun. Meet Jessie, a classic high end bartender. Quiet? Get a table. Groups? Ask about the private room at the far east side of the place. CAUTION: The valet is entry to the left side. Gazebo to the left of the entry. Outside is best part on a pretty day.“

Very unique, and the steak didn't require any sauces or anything. Lovely dinner and looking forward to coming back. Thank you for making my daughters birthday!“

“I'm from New Orleans. I know a good bar experience from a mediocre one. I have to say, Leah, the bartender working when we came in, had a keen eye for attention to detail, made every single drink ordered with a level of finesse that is fit for a 3 star Michelin star restaurant, and honestly made it with love. She was a good representation of Dallas and I hope other people in dallas get to know that if they want an amazing cocktail experience, they should ask for Leah at 3Eleven Cocktails“

“This is definitely an atmosphere. Mood lighting, ambiance, and nice views for window seats. There is plenty of seating and friendly staff. Most people were dressed business casual.Great for lunch, business lunch/dinner, happy hour, dates, after work meet-up, dinner meet-up, and dine in alone. Nice bar area.Unique menu options, appropriate portions, and tasty dishes. Crab nachos are my favorite.Bathrooms are clean. Most seating is comfortable. There is a gorgeous space to rent for private parties or work parties. Downtown parking in nearby garages or metered with 2hr max. If there is a wait, the eyeball park is next door.My go-tos are crab nachos and pick 2/3 smart bowls.“

“I eat dinner in this area all the time, and I can’t believe I missed this place. This is one of the rare times I ate an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert, and completely finished it without taking any leftovers, it was that good. My server was Elena and she was purely lovely. Knowledgeable, friendly, and great attention to detail. Definitely coming back, enjoy the photos. You’ll have to figure out what they are yourself when you dine in.“

“We were in Dallas for 3 days and came here twice in a row. It was that good. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, and the chefs were friendly and meticulous. Highlights included the seared pieces (salmon belly, black cod) and the truffle salmon. Felt like a portal to Japan. Wow.“

“Celebrating Mom on her birthday! Zoe was amazing, so attentive and sweet. They were very cautious about her gluten sensitivity, we ordered her lasagna ahead of time, and the two appetizers we got were GF. Everything was really delicious. Manager stopped by multiple times. My husband said the red sauce was THE BOMB!Dietary restrictions: Almost the entire menu can be made GF, they even had bread that was GF!“

“I really enjoyed this spot. The service was great, there was live music, it's a cozy restaurant. The food is solid, but the ambiance is what makes it a great place to go for a date night. They also have a sommelier which I thought was really helpful!“

“Went to dinner at 7:15 and it was LOUD, which is saying something for a Monday. The food was very good. We had the wagyu short rib with the potatoes and the octopus to start. I had a spicy ginger to drink which was also excellent. The only low point was dessert - the goat cheese cheesecake was more science project than after dinner delight, but Jordan was great about it and treated us great the whole night.Overall, it was a great date night.“

“The decor is nice in this place. Good selection of drinks. The service was pretty good too. I had the full Irish breakfast which was one of the best ones I have had. It's not a super common menu item so it's nice when you come across it. The only thing I would change is a bit more grilled tomato. I like when you get half a tomato but this was more like an 1/8 cut into a wedge. Didn't hurt the flavor but I like the mushrooms and tomato that come with it so no need to skimp.I also had a couple of snake bites to wash it down and for dessert their brown bread ice cream. The ice cream was tasty and different. I really enjoyed it. It's served with a caramel sauce. Seemed like they had a lot of good food items. I would recommend, especially if you want something a bit different from the typical BBQ and Mexican food that is so common in the area.I feel like Dallas is a bit expensive for everything and this place was pretty standard in regards to price. Irish breakfast, three pints (snake bites) and dessert came out to $60. I was happy though ?“

“Bright, vibrant art makes this place feel very cheerful. The fun, quirky ingredient combos in the tacos made it difficult to choose just one!The music on the patio is club level, so stay indoors if you want to carry on a conversation. The food was fresh and very well prepared. The poblano salsa was more of a dip than a soupy salsa consistency.“

“Great entertainment and good food. The animals was amazing. The horses and the falcon. The sword fighting was really neat to watch. Definitely worth the price for the show. They also let me be in one of their commercials. A really great place“

“The food is superb. Everything I have had has been amazing with taste. The only downfall is the entire inside of the restaurant, the lights are too dim to see - makes it difficult at lunch to take friends or co-workers unless you all enjoy eating outside and I don't.Parking: The free parking is located in the back on Boll Street about 30 spacesKid-friendliness: Not kid friendly restaurant“

“Speedy service, they get you in and out, although we stayed for a while, catching up with friends ?.The chips are a little crunchy ? and good salsa. You can purchase several other salsas for your table.I enjoyed the made in house tamales and my chicken enchiladas. I wasn't a big fan of ground beef taco (flavor needed). We did like the white queso. You get generous portions and worth a visit.Parking: Small parking lot attached with valet during certain times...I had to park down the street and walk 2 blocks.“

“You know coming here your going to get to get very good bbq. It is consistent and good. The sides are exactly what you expect. To get 5 stars from me they need to up their game on the Bbq sauce. It's super watery and only 1 type. Also I'd like some really good home style rolls to go with everything. Yes I'm being picky. But with a place this good should have everything at the same high quality. Come here hungry because you will leave filled with delicious meats. Enjoy!“

“Restaurant has a nice ambiance, very well decorated and easy to talk to your table without feeling overcrowded by other tables. Service was quick and helpful. Our server was able to navigate me through the gluten free options (which are more than plenty). I believe there were only two things I could not have off the top of my head. We got the combo and it was absolutely delicious. Would come back here again and again.“

“I didn't even remember to take pictures because it was so good. We went for my friends birthday. At the time they were running a special with scallops, steak and then we also had the potatoes aun gratin. The service was over the top amazing. I have been to my fair share of steakhouses but this was the first time my napkin was placed on my lap for me. All of the food was delicious and all I wanted to do after I left was roll into bed. I left happy and full. will be coming back next trip to dallas“

“Went in for a quick bite before a Mavs game…did not disappoint. Had the steak and frites…basic (the dish), but perfectly prepared and delicious. My wife had the chicken piccata. The orzo was a bit soupy but taster very good. Alan took care of us and was very helpful, pleasant, and knew his restaurant. Had the Texas Cabernet and it was delicious. A neighborhood steakhouse—a little loud but welcoming. A lot of families.“

“One of our favorite places in Dallas! While DDW has a lot of restaurants, it’s definitely quantity over quality. We’ve had a lot more bad meals than good, but that’s never the case at Al Biernat’s!Every single thing we’ve had here is amazing. My husband ordered breakfast last weekend, and I tried his bacon. It felt like the first time I’ve had real bacon in a decade, lol!My go to meal is the shrimp and mango ceviche. A must! Their mojitos are fabulous (thanks, Griff), and their bread basket is a must. Also highly recommend the raw oysters. We love to finish with double espressos and tiramisu. All of their desserts are fantastic, and you can’t go wrong no matter which one you choose.Make sure to say hi to the manager, Marty, when you’re there. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, something that’s definitely lacking at other establishments. Highly, highly recommend Al Biernat’s!“

“We love Banana Leaf and the family that owns and runs the restaurant. “I had the Chaco Oaxaca burger. That was a tasty burger. It had great flavor. The place was packed for lunch. The servers were really busy. The outside isn’t much to look at but that seems to be common in the area. I was told the burgers were great and they weren’t lying.“

“I visited here entirely based on the recommendation of the guide on my Dallas tour earlier in the day. He (Isaac) also facilitates a food tour as well and has a love for trying different locations, and has been in Dallas much of his life, so I easily accepted the suggestion . . . and glad I did. I wanted to visit a location that offers top-quality craft bar options (and I did add "no matter the price"). The pricing here was VERY reasonable, and the service at the bar was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were, well, Fantastic. I enjoyed my visit and would readily return myself if I lived in Dallas, but I was only visiting for the Eclipse weekend. It is a location I can very easily recommend to others. Go! Enjoy! I certainly did.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Truluck’s. The food, service, and atmosphere were exceptional. For my entree, I ordered the Maine Lobster, and that was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had. The lobster was so savory. For appetizer, we ordered rolls and calamari, and both tasted really good! The calamari was on the sweeter side. For sides, we got truffles fries and mashed potatoes. I enjoyed both. For my birthday dessert, they brought out baked Alaska which had a great presentation. This location was beautiful! It is located in the heart of Uptown, has two stories, and floor to ceiling windows which offer great views. I would definitely come back here in the future! This is a great place to come to for a birthday. The staff gives you a handwritten card, and they decorate the table for you.“

“Cattleack has a big reputation for a reason - they likely make the best BBQ in Dallas! I arrived at 930 on a Friday with only four people ahead of me in line. At 10 o'clock opening maybe twenty people were waiting. The brisket was very well cooked and perfectly salty, just not phenomenal. The ribs were about the same - a knock out, but not the best ever. The turkey is as good as any I've had, as was the hatch chilie sausage. The cornbread was decadent and the beans were wonderful, but the mac and cheese and dirty rice sides were just okay. A perfect order for a hungry single guest is 1/4 lb turkey, 1/3 lb brisket, a rib or two, cornbread, and beans. Add a single hatch sausage if you're feeling REALLY hungry. There's tons of indoor seating but you might end up at a shared picnic table. Table go orders with bags, boxes, and plastic containers are available as are assorted merch items. I'd return any time and am excited to visit!“

“This is a really good Thai spot inside a Thai grocery store in/near Oak Cliff. The pho and pad thai were incredible. Their sausage is also really good.Owner/chef came out to greet us/talk to us. “The broths here are excellent! They taste so flavorful and have definitely been brewing them for awhile to get that depth of flavor. Prices are a little high but it is lower Greenville so I can understand. I wish there was more meat in our pho bowls as it felt underwhelming compared to the amount of noodles. Glad I finally got to give this place a try as it had been on my list for awhile.“

“I don't remember the server's name but he was very respectful. We were here from out of town and wanted to see how great the breakfast was here. I had a build your own omelet and my other half had the Denver skillet. “This place makes me feel so at home. Yeah, the atmosphere isn’t the most updated or chic, but it’s cozy and classic (my favorite part is the ceiling). The prices are unbelievable for what you’re getting- the food is outstanding and I always get at least two servings out of any meal I get. If I had only one restaurant to choose from for the rest of my life, Two Guys from Italy would be it!“
