The bean soup is truly outstanding, complemented by the accompanying chips and salsa. I also thoroughly enjoyed the queso, finding it to be both rich and flavorful.

However, I must note that the chips and taco shells, which I believe are house-made, were quite firm. Several members of my dining party experienced discomfort due to their hardness. Consequently, I was unable to fully enjoy my tacos as much as I would have preferred due to the rigidity of the shells. Nevertheless, for those who appreciate a firmer texture, I would highly recommend them.

Regarding beverages, selecting the to-go drink option results in a considerably larger serving, so please be advised. Additionally, the lemonade is notably sweet, comparable to that offered by Chick-fil-A.“

“We love Rafa’s! We dine here weekly, as this is our all time favorite Tex Mex. The food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Joe has been taking great care of us for over 25 years and provides the best service! He knows exactly what we want to order without us ever saying a word, even the extra serranos and all! Great quest, super fresh and generous portion on guacamole and best beef fajita meat I have ever had(asked for rare cook...and it actually came out rare!). The grilled onions and peppers are at the perfect level of doneness. The bean soup I add avacado to. It’s amazing. The verde sauce and sour cream sauce on the enchiladas are so good I get both. And the acoustic panels on the ceiling are essential in a brick and concrete space that is as busy as Ebar always is. Makes for a pleasant environment. 🤌“

“La Calle Doce is a gem! We went for Friday lunch and loved everything—the cozy, beautifully maintained old house, peaceful vibe, and excellent service. I had the lunch special with fish soup and a ceviche tostada, and my husband had the salmon salad. Both were incredible, and the spicy ranch waters were a fun bonus. “my husband and myself enjoyed and early dinner today at the Dallas location. We had the best waitress named LuLu. Her service was so fast and she was so attentive. I had the tortilla soup and the bowl was huge. It was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fajita nachos and we shared some queso and tortillas of course and it was all fantastic. Can't forget about the frozen margaritas, they were the perfect compliment to our dinner. This location treats us wonderfully everytime we come.“

The steak is real deal meat, super soft and juicy, not that sus fake stuff, and it doesn’t taste like it’s loaded with a bunch of preseratives or weird chemicals, just mad fresh and flavorful, kinda feels like a “healthy” cheat meal lowkey 😋👌. All the food was gas, my family was gatekeeping their plates but we still kept stealing bites cuz it was too good 😭🍽. The workers were chill and actually on it, vibes inside were kinda loud but in a good way, like perfect spot to pull up with the squad and just chill, so yeah Bandito’s Tex Mex Cantina is a 5‑star no debate, they ate with that Wagyu and left no crumbs😭✌“
