“I found this spot on Dallas' "Hot & New" Yelp list and decided to check them out. It's my first time in Dallas and I am still getting oriented to Texas. Whistle Britches is in the northern suburbs of Dallas and has a bright diner ambiance. I sat on their covered patio. It was a quiet Friday afternoon. I was served after about 5 minutes. Breanna took care of me and got me a cold brew coffee. Their fried chicken looked good so I ordered their "Sir Mix A Lot" - one breast, one thigh, and one wing with two sides. The cole slaw was OK, though the biscuit was worth getting another. I would love it with some fresh eggs.“

“The chicken was very, very spicy because I got the 'Shut The Cluck Up' version. I was sweating like the police was behind me. I couldn't enjoy the chicken because of the spice level but that's not there fault. The fries was okay and the Mac & Cheese was goat ! Great place overall !Kid-friendliness: Very respectful there !“

“If y’all haven’t been to Mikes then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!Let’s start with the famous chicken. Perfect crust, seasoning and made to order each time. I’m hard pressed to think of a better piece of fried chicken. Might be one of the best I ever had. I’ll be dreaming about this chicken. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the spicy dark meat is definitely on another level of quality and flavor. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. Food took a bit long, so be ready to wait a bit, but since the food is made to order the wait is well worth it.“

“This place.....is the best fried chicken joint in Dallas, in my opinion. It's so damn good every time. Fried in peanut oil, the chicken is juicy and the skin is crispy but light, almost karaage style. Every side is off-the-chain good, and the biscuits have just the right amount of sweetness. Make this a must-visit destination in your search for Dallas's tastiest lunch spots.“

“This place stands out amongst a sea of disappointing sushi joints in DFW that serve westernized "rolls" drenched in spicy mayo and eel sauce, masking the lack of fish quality. Great ambiance, service, and most importantly, food. Tried ~8 of their handrolls, all of which were fantastic. Started off with one of their combos which was comprised of more simple handrolls (salmon avocado, yellowtail scallion, etc) where the quality of fish stood out; then moved onto handrolls such as with a bit more depth which were also very good. I felt that sauces used in these rolls were relatively sophisticated. Vegetable tempura plate was notable as well - extra crispy & reminiscent of tempura sold in the far east. Appreciated the head chef and waitress who made the experience even more enjoyable.“

“This isn’t just Raising Cane’s, it’s Posty X Canes! Post Malone designed, Dallas Cowboys themed and it’s simply amazing.Despite being pretty busy, the food was flowing and so were the photos. Every inch of this place was silver and blue. The merch vending machine has one of a kind items only avail at this location. The memorabilia on display was super cool.Take the time to stop by, it’s worth the trip.“

“Had a medium spicy chicken sando. Was the perfect spice level for me since I don’t like to OD on capsaicin anymore. The chicken breast was huge and the bun only covered about 1/2 of it. The house sauce was tasty as well. Definitely would return when in the area.“

“Might be the most underrated lunch restaurant in North Dallas? We've never ordered a disappointing meal, plus the food is healthier and more filling than most other restaurants. Our favorites are the peanut butter bowl with crispy chicken and the Austin Heat sandwich.“

“Second time at this location and it was just as great as the first time. Normally I go to the Fort Worth location but it's a bit further.I was really bummed showing up because we had to pay for parking. It was $17! My first comment was "I have to pay to eat here because it's in the middle of Dallas?" Right as I walked in Ashley and some others greeted us. She asked if we had paid for parking and to scan a QR code to get a refund. Thank you!Ashley was fantastic, she served us last time. She is on her game all the time. Very sweet and very attentive. For a Friday night, it wasnt too busy around 7:30. A few more tables started filling up around 8:00.The food came out so fast! The fried pickle spears are delicious. The fried chicken is easily one of the best in DFW. It's got a nice kick to it. The fries and Mac are also very good. I'll always recommend Gus's chicken!“

“Yes it’s a chain but this bird is the word! Chicken rockstars use gas fired wood (for flavor) ovens producing juicy fowl for your pleasure. Save your money and just eat that bird because the sides are only ho hum and definitely skip the whip cream is all there is banana pudding fit only for children.“

“I went here quite some months ago. I was in a rough place in my life at the time, left from paying my phone bill across the street, and was about to pass by William's, and something said "go in there".. I'm so glad I did. I should have wrote this review months ago, but there was a lady in there, I think she said everyone calls her Mama, she was soooo nice, so encouraging! It was around 10 in the morning, so she's an opening manager possibly. Not sure. It's such a refresher to meet ppl like that. So kind and positive. I'm sure someone knows exactly whom I'm referring to. Kudos to her and the William's chicken organization!“

“Thank you to the beautiful manager Alyssa up front who helped us get our food in a very fast manner, and showed us great customer service before closing tonight. Albert was also quick and very helpful at the checkout. They are definitely setting a good example of what Chick Fil A stands for when it comes to quality service!“

“Asian fusion fried chicken. Probably the best fried chicken I have ever had. So moist and tender inside and perfectly crispy outside. And the flavor! The chef and recipe creator came out from the back to have me try a new sauce he had just made that was incredible. Portion size was surprisingly large. Really fun interactive environment too. I am definitely eating here the next time I’m in Dallas!“

“The chicken was fresh, the biscuits were great, and the mash potatoes were hot! I haven’t eaten at a church’s in years, and this was a good experience. A lot more pricey than they use to be but I’m sure that just comes with the times. I have always enjoyed the crispy batter so it did not disappoint! Great job guys!“

“Their tenders and sauce are WAY better than Raising Cane's. I don't know why RC gets so much hype. I like to order the spicy tenders with Birdguesa sauce AND gravy. I switch it up between the salad, tenders only, and sandwich. And their tots are 100%. It's too bad it's only in the downtown location because I don't come here as often. But when I do, I'm definitely getting some Birdguesa. Franchise already!“

“Food has always been great every time I've come here. I do live quiet a distance, but it'd certainly be worth it. Note that the building his small, and there aren't many places to sit. When inside the building, you can tell it needs an update. I would also like to note that the staff here aren't always friendly. The atmosphere itself isn't always welcoming. However, I haven't had many problems here. You'll occasionally get that one lady on the front counter who seems to be having a bad day (EVERYDAY), but that's okay! Food has always been fresh, no complaints there. Props to the kitchen. It can be expensive if you are purchasing for a big family however. I have a family of 5 and I typically spend around 60-70$ for chicken and rice.“

“I went here yesterday during my break. The main highlight was the employees. Don't get me wrong, the food was great too, but the people working made me feel at home. I'm a bit sensitive to loud noises like echoes and music, I would've dined in if I had brought noise cancelling headphones“

“Out of this world prices, prices straight out of 2012. Can actually fill up with a ten dollar bill (good luck anywhere else). Service was stellar. Food quality is great and the sauces are really flavorful. Chicken had a nice crisp, overall superior “

“I was definitely excited to try this place during my visit. My only problem is although the wings are very saucy. Once you get past the sauce the wings themselves don’t have flavor. it seems that there wings are just cooked and then dipped in sauce and served.“

“I placed an order online today for two meals and two drinks. When we got to Cowboy Chicken to pick up our food, apparently the app had only received one of the meal orders. The gentleman who helped us was so extremely kind and gave us the meal for our troubles. He then proceeded to help my husband carry the food out to our car. If that's not customer service, I don't know what it is. The food has great flavor and was delicious. The pieces of chicken on the smaller side, so order additional chicken, if you're hankering for a lot of chicken. It was a great meal, and the customer service was outstanding.“

“I don't generally buy into the "influencer" culture (I stick to Google Reviews) but I caved in a little and decided to give Dave's a try. As a vegetarian, I would have never considered going here until I discovered they offered "Not" Chicken (aka cauliflower).I tried the Combo 1 (2 pieces and fries ) and ordered medium because I had no idea what to expect from a place with "Hot" in the name. The spice level was a little milder than I expected but the spice flavor was out of this world. The "Not Chicken" is big chunks of cauliflower steaks and they are so big I almost couldn't finish my order. The fries were also seasoned with a magical blend of who knows what - and they were crinkle cut so you already know they are going to be good. This was a great treat and I can recommend this option for vegetarians who are curious. Compared to other vegetarian / cauliflower options I've tried, this was one of the best.“
