“The food is delicious, but when it comes to paying for your food they bring this little machine to your table to payout mine you they already put the gratuity on your bill, even if there is 2 or more. The waiter or waitress have a nerve to ask for additional tips, but you don’t know that they already charge you gratuity and asking for more money. I don’t think this is fair and right to do. Me and my husband came for our anniversary we enjoyed everything, but telling us that you have to share your tips with others and asking for more money is very wrong. Not good for business 🤦🏼‍♀️“

“I came to Daq & Mag Daiquiri’s for lunch earlier this week for the first time and I must say that I am glad to have another great soul food establishment in this area! I was a little disappointed that they were out of the ox tails and beef tips by the time I got there around 2 pm but I had the smothered chicken, candied yams and collard greens, and I forgot all about wanting anything else after the 1st bite! That plate was heaven sent, the chicken literally fell off the bone and melted in my mouth!! And with the yams, I couldn’t hardly stop eating it even in the car on the way home. Add the hot water cornbread and OMG! The chicken was half way gone before I even realized there was a bed of rice underneath it! Excellent meal… will definitely come back the next time I’m in Texas“

“I’ve been in North Dallas for 23 years grew up here always heard about big mamas. I’ve never been. I went last night with my Homie Kenny he used to live at Audelia and forest And swears by this place yesterday was national fried chicken day so I Figured I’d try it out. I got a two piece dark with fries extra seasoning and toast a large okra, a one piece catfish a waffle and syrup man that chicken was a 10 out of 10 the okra was a 20 out of 10 and the catfish was a 15 out of 10 the waffle was OK and my fries were soggy, But it was really good and I see what the hype‘s about great prices great chicken, but man that catfish was good and just know that if you go order food, you gonna be waiting a minute for your food because they cook it all right there after you order so it takes a while but it’s worth it“
