Aperitivo Reviews
Absolutely amazing. The owners are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and every single thing we had was fresh and delicious. You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their customers. It’s such a nice change from the ordinary. This is exactly the kind of local restaurant our community needs. We can’t wait to come back!
From the moment I walked into the door, I felt transported to a chic bistro somewhere other than in Abilene, TX. The manager, Sue was very attentive and introduced us to her team, including the chef! Her recommendations were perfect, caprese burger and shrub! The hubby and I will definitely be returning! The only suggestion I have is dimmer lighting for a cozier vibe.

Aperitivo in Abilene offers a lovely environment with delicious food and knowledgeable, kind staff. This quiet hole in the wall provides friendly service and reasonably priced meals, though seating is limited. Guests receive a warm welcome and detailed explanations of the menu, including off-menu options. Notable dishes include deviled eggs, beef stew with cornbread, and the sandwich trio appetizers, which are highly praised by visitors. The attention to detail and the love put into the food make it a place worth returning to. The atmosphere feels welcoming, like visiting friends' homes, and the staff makes guests feel very comfortable. Many guests enjoy the Prosciutto kisses and the strawberry crostinis, while the sun-dried tomato pesto pasta is another favorite. The food is consistently amazing, and the homemade vanilla latte with heavy cream is also highly recommended. Overall, Aperitivo is a beloved spot known for its top-notch food and friendly service, making it a place guests tend to return to often.
