“Halal East Asian restaurants are a bit of a rarity in the Metroplex, so I was really happy to find this place! Lots of variety in the menu, very good portion sizes, and the wait staff was very kind! I got the bulgogi rice bowl and the meat was super flavorful, and the creme brulee honey toast for dessert (all the honey toasts are pretty big, so I recommend sharing if you're with 2-3 people) was delicious - I really loved the custard on top. It's a bit of a drive from where I am but I will definitely come again 🙏“

We ordered the brisket and it was a small portion for the price and it was cold to the touch! my bf is very non confrontational so he just ate it. Tbh it was nothing crazy, tender and a strong Smokey flavor. The chicken karaage was delicious, the combination of ginger, basil and cilantro with it was just *chefs kiss* we tried the sweet corn fritters and sent them back but they are very popular just neither one of us enjoyed them. We also grabbed the rice noodles and oh my gosh they were go amazing. It’s a cold noodles and topped with fresh cilantro and just the right amount of heat and so good. The last side we shared was the Caesar salad, it was not good. I’m a salad lover and Caesar is my favorite, the lettuce was old, wilted and not that nice crisp fresh bite. But eh the stuff that was good was really good, I’d go again for sure.“

“Food is incredible here!!! Large group went for lunch. It came out fast and every dish was seasoned perfectly. We had the Shrimp fried rice and asked them to make it a little spicy. This was full of flavor with a kick. We loved it! K-pop chicken was sooo crispy and good. Our friend even ordered this to go for her boys. Combination noodles, combination vegetables, beef and broccali (so simple but why was it so good!)...these were perfectly cooked and veggies were so fresh. This place is on point with flavors, they use fresh ingredients, and know how to cook it perfectly!“

I got the Nasi Goreng Rendang, which was entirely not spicy...? We also got the Es Campur, a heaping beast of a sweet drink- fun to drink and incredibly tasty.“

“UPDATE: I ordered from them again. Delivery was suspiciously fast. The food is still good, but the Mongolian Green Beans are a tad over-cooked and the tofu undercooked. It's still perfectly edible (and does taste good), but not what I would recommend for someone looking for good tofu. I had heard about inconsistencies at this location and I see them now.

Ignore my "Atmosphere" rating as I got delivery.

Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with Tofu and a side of Mongolian Green Beans. After the delivery fee and tip, it came to $26.99, which is pretty average these days for delivery from a fast food joint. The only complaint I have is that I had to order on my phone. The Pei Wei website seems to not work on Firefox (at least, for me).

Mongolian Green Beans: cooked perfectly - just slightly crunchy and have the perfect amount of sauce, which is also delicious.

Tofu: Again, cooked perfectly. Tofu is not something I usually enjoy, but it can be good. Those of us who've tried to go Vegan will know the struggle. This is a great restaurant to try it.

Finally, the veggies that come as part of the Kung Pao are are still mostly crunchy (in a good way) and the white rice was made better than I make it at home with my rice cooker.

Vegetarian options: Easy to substitute or remove meat.“

Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too!
