Higuma Ramen & Izakaya Reviews
My kids both asked me to leave a 5 star review. Everything was delicious! They ordered lobster ramen and teriyaki chicken and 0 complaints!
I run a small Japanese language service here in the DFW area, and I always bring my friends, family, clients, and students here. The menu, while small, is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere here gives a small izakaya vibe.
Never had a bad meal here, and I always come back for more. Can’t go wrong with Higuma!
The ramen was excellent! LOTS of noodles and the service was delightful

Higuma Ramen & Izakaya offers tasty ramen options like Beef Ramen and duck, with generous toppings. The restaurant has a weekday special, clean decor, and reasonable prices, making it a great choice for groups or individuals. Customers enjoyed dishes like agedashi tofu and green tea cheesecake. The ramen is good, though some prefer ramen in other places. The cost of ramen is appropriate, but some suggest going for cheaper ramen with better taste. Customers appreciate the welcoming store design and great customer service. The private booth (koshitsu) offers a cozy space, perfect for lunch alone or celebrations. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the interior is artistic. The Kuro kuma ramen is excellent, especially with some spice. The spicy garlic ramen at level 3 of spice is highly recommended for garlic and spice lovers. The gyozas have a nice crisp at the bottom and flavorful filling, making it worth the visit. The eggs are consistently jammy, and the cute decor adds to the experience. Customers also enjoy the friendly atmosphere and relaxing environment, with some describing their experience as “magical” after trying the ramen. The restaurant's owner clearly takes pride in the business, which is reflected in the quality and presentation of the food.
