Parking: I was lucky to be there on a Sunday, because the neighborhood’s street parking is for residents only on Tuesday-Saturday. I’m not sure where in the world you’d park on those days. I had to park about 3 blocks away.“

“Came here for the first time on a Sunday morning around 11:30 AM. Mimosas - Standard mimosa. No strange aftertaste. Decent strength in alcohol content. Huevos Rancheros - Eggs were cooked perfectly - nice & runny yolk with whites cooked thoroughly. Tostadas were very crispy, but slightly overcooked & a touch burnt. Served with refried black beans spread over the tostadas, a generous, spread of salsa, and cotija cheese. Served with a side of rancheros sauce which tasted like salsa verde. Brunch potatoes - Lightly salted. Cooked nicely - crispy on the outside & soft, fluffy, & tender on the inside. Doesn’t get soggy despite sitting on top of salsa. Would have liked more seasoning, but still good. Brunch Burger - Like biscuits & gravy, but on a burger. Flavor is good - very tasty. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Habanero Margarita - actually uses a pretty good reposado tequila - Mi Compo. Very smooth & slightly spicy. Hot Mexican Chili Arbol Wings to go - Came with a hand sanitizing wipe. Medium crispy on the outside. Good flavor. Overall, we had a very nice experience. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, Kinsley, was very nice, personable, & very knowledgeable of menu despite only being here for a month. They also have a happy hour between 4-7 PM, so I’d like to try out their happy hour. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“

“From the time I walked it I loved it. The bartender Lance was amazing. His customer service , his knowledge of the menu, him remembering my name, made it feel like a town home spot I would come back to over and over again. He suggested the pepper jack chicken sandwich which was to die for... My only complaint would be I asked For no bacon on my sandwich but it came out with bacon on it. The older lady with the glasses who came from behind the bar to hand me my sandwich, I explained to her that I don't eat bacon or pork and within 2 minutes. She was back standing in front of me, letting me know she took the bacon off and she asked if that was okay. I looked her in her eyes and said if I told you I do not eat pork. Why would you think it's okay for you to take bacon off of a sandwich and bring it back to me? That meant y ou took your hands opened up my sandwich handle it, pull the bacon off of the chicken That was melted into the cheese and closed my sandwich backup and brought it to me cold and the fries. I suggested she's go to back.Make me a new sandwich and bring it back out.When the sandwich came back out, it was hot, fresh and delicious.And so were the steak fries nine out of ten only because of that but I will definitely be back because lance was amazing kudos to lance“

“Great view from the patio of the lake. The beers were cold. The Bourbon Glaze Salmon was great. I liked the mash potatoes as a side. The seasonal vegetables were good but too many carrots. Next time I would try a different side. My wife got the burger. The bun was fresh and flavorful but the burger was a bit dry. She did like the ranch dressing that came with the side salad.“

I ordered the chicken wings, they were horrible ? over cooked, no seasonings, and to make it worse, the fries were sold separately, but they were fresh, hot, and seasoned. The drinks were on point! Wolverines broke the Crimson Tide 27-20. The ambience was amplified by the large number of TVs all around, pool tables and good/reasonably priced food.“

“6 of met there tonight (a Tuesday night). Food and beer was very good - had an IPA, Chicken Buffalo burger, and several appetizers. It would be nice if they had a larger selection of both beers and menu items but both were adequate. Place wasn't noisy so a great place to talk. There was no parking out front but there is a parking garage in the building behind the place and it's a very short walk. Our server was outstanding - friendly, knowlegable and very helpful. She was the only server/bartender there but was always available. I'll be back!“

Having visited multiple times, I can say it's a go-to spot for me and my friends. However, there is a downside. The service could use some improvement. On two occasions, I encountered staff members who were less than polite, which dampened the experience a bit. That being said, it could have just been an off day for them, as I've returned since without further issues.

Overall, Barley House is still a great choice for a fun night out, just be prepared for the possibility of a hiccup in service. But with good company and a cold beer, it’s worth a visit.“

“Visited this place due to being recommended by someone at a restaurant near by. The smoke smell is very heavy but after sitting there for about 20 mins or so the smell becomes vague. Seems really cozy and tight-knitted like a very small family. Everyone seemed to be regulars. Much laughter, reasonable drinks, inexpensive hookahs and the food was "bussin" according to my children ? We came early in the afternoon for a late lunch and left as the comedians entered since I had my children. My overall experience is 6 ⭐'s ?. Will definitely return one day soon!“
