“First and foremost: Great staff!! The Lonestar Borracho's always bring the party with us (20-30 solid drinkers) and that usual disrupts other bars. G Willickers Pub has always embraced us uninterrupted. The place looks even better after appearing on Bar Rescue. We were so happy to see our little pub get a make over. Small place but holds allot of really good times. TIP BIG!! XII“
“Went here after a Rangers game with a Group of 10 ppl! It was an early game so we didnt want to go home.... Soon as we arrived Matt the bartender told us about some drink specials and we had a great time drinking for cheap .. had a few $3 shot options... they didnt have a open kitchen but he was completely fine with us picking up and bringing in outside food ... overall had a great time“
“This is my karaoke home since moving to the area. I visited several local shows post-pandemic and this is my favorite by far! It's a great place to spend my weekly social energy. Code the KJ keeps the party going and makes me feel like a rockstar when I'm on stage. Bartenders kick ass and take names(Felicia, Jerry, Krystal, Natalie, Shane are who I see most often). The regulars are fun and inviting, pretty sure I make new friends every time I'm there. The food hits the spot, drink prices are reasonable(yes, even in this economy), good vibes are high and drama is low. If you like to sing, or just like music & watching others sing, it's worth checking out!“
“Hooligans is a great duck off bar. We went late night for a few night caps and was met by friendly staff. The two bartenders were great. I forgot their name it was a guy and a woman. The female bartender made our drinks and they were more than I expected. For some reason I don't think of craft drinks at a pub but they were well done. She was very knowledgeable about different drinks. The bar has good collection of Liqour and wine. There was a good mixture for different walks of life at the bar. I would definitely go back. They appear to have specials throughout the week.“
“Mark was a wonderful bartender. He was our first bartender there and he was fantastic. However, we went a third time (3/22/24) and there was a woman. I unfortunately did not get her name. She served me and told me that I was being too loud. I apologized saying that I am from a loud family. I’m sensitive and cried out of embarrassment. Whenever my friend arrived and asked me how I was. I’m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I assured her that I never spoke a bad word about her just repeated that she told me I was too loud. I was embarrassed. I didn’t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink.I don’t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . I no longer feel welcome at my favorite whiskey bar. My fiends tried talking to her to understand the friction and called her out on her rudeness simply by asking her why she was taking digs at me. They didn’t appreciate the situation. She didn’t have to keep insulting me/putting me down. I just needed a moment to process my embarrassment I already apologized for.“
“Cute little hole in the wall where you can chill with friends, play pool, listen to live bands some nights, karaoke on others. The bartender, Amanda is super awesome and even has some of her own signature drinks. Definitely recommend if you aren’t into the busy bar scene but still like to go somewhere to have a drink.“
“This was a really cool tap house. The bartender was so cool and fun to talk to. She really knew her beers. The place was really nice and had plenty of sitting space. There are lots of taps to try, and the beer options were all really good. The beers are a little pricey for being 10 ounce pours.“
“Each menu has a unique focus, as in the “Gastronaut" and “The Good Earth,” offering superb vegetarian items. Guests can also graze through the menus to get a full sense of what the team can do. Sauces work a particular magic, as evidenced by the truffle-infused tartar with morel “crabcake.” Desserts, like coconut sorbet with ginger granité, are perfection.“
“One of my top restaurant experiences! I love black and tans and half and half so the first experience was just a stop for drinks. But the food was delicious and perfectly made. It was always crowded and a bit of a wait but even the bar seating with my daughter was a good experience. It's a very popular place so get there early. Irish Breakfast and scotch bonnets are a must try.“
“We went here on a Saturday evening. When we got there it was slow and we were immediately greeted. I love the ordering system here. It's all on your phone, and when you're ready for another pour you just order it. The longer we stayed the busier it got, and I will say the waitress working was absolutely amazing. Every customer she helped with a fantastic and upbeat personality. We had the beer queso and chips, tacos, and wings. All the food was great. The beer was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. We will definitely visit again.“
“Drinks for a decent price, service was friendly, lots of TVs to watch the game. It's a great spot for live music however if you're sitting on the side the sound doesn't carry well so if you really want to hear the band and have a good concert like experience get there early enough to get a good seat.“
“This is the best bar there is. Friendly people and never any of the drama that you have to deal with at normal places. Staff are super friendly and always ready to serve. From time to time they host quiz games and other activities. Great place!“
