“I am not typically a fan of Tex Mex cuisine, but my husband enjoys it, so I decided to give it another try. My husband suggested we visit Mi Cocina, as it is conveniently located near our residence and had received a 5-star rating online. We arrived around noon today. Our server, Jairo, was helpful in recommending a dish, which proved to be delicious, featuring a combination of various appetizers. The food was warm and served promptly. Jairo also suggested drinks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff consistently displayed friendly smiles, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Jairo and the staff deserve a 5-star rating from us.“

“What a hidden gem I found ! Came for lunch and the garden out front is what I first noticed and what really drew me in. I took a moment to admire it before coming inside. Diverse life in there!
I ordered ceviche and a mango mojito. Both were delicious !! I then ordered the street corn which lacks some flavor but still tastes good! Bryan was my server and he is extremely nice and accommodating! Constantly checking up on me and has great conversation. So many combos most are under $8 with water when on special.
As soon as you walk in your greeted by the staff. The menu was very clear to see , read and understand.
The atmosphere was great, decorations and the vibe were in point. Restaurant was clean.

This gave me a vibe of taco cabana with a papasitos mix.

I had the taco plate , 3 tacos with beef, rice and beans with a drink and 2 extra tortillas.

100% would recommend 👌“

“Very good food but to drink because the Arabs/Indians blame you for stealing or not paying for your drinks today I went and they accused me of stealing at the gas station it's a shame
Then it came out that it was an accident and they didn't even ask for an apology, but the food and service at the taqueria were very good. They should look for another place because those Indians are going to scare away customers.“

“I rate this place one of the best mexican restaurant in the area. Very authentic with quality food. I try to go every Saturday morning for breakfast tacos after my workout. Atmosphere is great and the people working there are even better than that.“

“Very very good. We had the NorCal burrito and it was delicious. They make it so you get some of everything in each bite, not just whatever layer you happen to be able to fit in your mouth. That being said, you DO NOT need to attempt one of these solo. Plenty for two people. They are 2000+ calories so probably not the best idea to unhinge your jaw and down one of these by yourself.“

“I don’t know who the manager of this store is but he needs to go train the other ones in Tulsa, OK. Bueno is a hit or miss there but this is consistently good every time I go. Also the little croissant at the window was an added bonus he told me my dog was cute and she really appreciated that.“

“Amazing al pastor tacos, crazy how you can get 10 for $14 in this economy. Some of the best tacos ive had, most authentic tasting with good flavor and good price. I've been to many taquerias including salsa verde, but none have compared to the value and taste here. The salsas were amazing!! I drowned my tacos in them, everything here is made fresh, I could taste the quality of the al pastor meat and the churros. I highly recommend getting the churro cajeta, (churros filled with dulce de leche caramel like filling, amazing experience)“

“Joshua was great but Madeleine was very rude. My wife asked for double meat but our total was rang up as extra meat +extra meat for 4.80 extra. I said why is it on the twice and they said it was four scoops. My wife didn't ask for that so I said either take it off or remake it at the price we understood. Joshua was remaking it asked what was wrong with the first one and was astounded that they wouldn't have resolved it by just removing one of the charges and comping the other one. He walked back down to ask and Madeline took the other bowl to the back of the restaurant instead of just tossing it in the trash. It was all very weird but Madeline was a constant source of conflict and rudeness. My wife had to wait to have them remake food while my family had already started eating. “Look … whoever was in the kitchen on 7/26/25 around 8 ish pm … was hittin dooowwwnnn on everything. Nacho fries hot and crispy … double beefy cheese burritos was top notch ‼️10/10. The Manager needs to keep the kitchen staff happy for sure !! I never had a Taco Bell EAT DOWN like that … 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Compliments to the cooks ‼️ it was so good I had to call up there and let them know immediately!! I go to this location every now and then but tonight was the best the food has ever been.“
