“I’m from Miami, land of Cuban Coffee, coladas, and cafe con leche. This place has a whole menu just for coffee and I took a risk. I never drink Starbucks… but Old West is hands and hands above them. We were in Denton for a week visiting family and I had the Crème Brûlée coffee 4X….. first was at out first breakfast, and the rest were pick up orders! It’s SO DELICIOUS! Then, the place is so cozy, but best of all is the food! Generous portions, their hash brown casserole was AMAZING… my kids ate there like they had been starving lol…. I’m def thinking of them back here in Miami!“

Every dish is a masterpiece, from the delicate scallop crudo to the savory tri‑tip special, and the desserts… I’m not exaggerating when I say they make me want to cry — they’re that delicious. “We visited Verf's on 9/19/25 and Jose F was our waiter. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“

“My husband and I had the island bourbon chicken on a stick and island veggie fried rice from their booth at Arts For All this evening. We were extremely satisfied with both dishes! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the rice had good flavor. Definitely recommend this business.“

“We tried Dove Creek Cafe a few weeks ago, and it is home cooking. They have a scheduled special for each day of the week posted. I could eat there every day. We've been back twice in the past two weeks. The chicken salad is so fresh, and the fish is excellent. Construction kept us away for a while, but I'm happy I found this wonderful place.“

“This is by far my favorite pizza ever! We found them accidentally as we were looking for food delivery late night and they were one of the few open and we are SO happy we found Zalat! The pizza is amazing. Always fresh, reheats great and the unique flavors are just perfection. Don’t forget about the dipping sauce they add. LOVE!!“

“This establishment was a nice find while we were in the Denton area. This place is operated by a husband and wife team who said they have been operating the restaurant for 30 years, which explains why their food was so delicious. We live 190 miles away, but definitely plan on going back. The atmosphere in the place was nice and relaxing.“

If you’ve never been here and like a little pick me up drink definitely ask for Sheena she made a cosmo that is no pun intended OUT OF THIS WORLD good! The service was prompt, police and attentive! “We were visiting from out of town and a local friend recommended this restaurant. My tween daughter and I had dinner here, and it was phenomenal! The food was so good, I went back and got takeout too. Can’t say enough about the delicious, clean food! We had fish tacos, smoked chicken salad and a small Brussels sprouts salad. Picky eater daughter had the kids chicken tacos and raved! Yum!“

“First time today. Ordered Tikka Masala bowl for her and Tikka burrito for me. Also Paneer fries and a couple Naans. Everything tastes good, but Naan is dry. Spice level is about 3 and we are usually 1 or zero, so be aware. Can we request less spicy?“
