“Stumbled upon this place as my regular spot was closed, and I’m glad it happened.
Most importantly, the young man taking care of me was incredibly polite and attentive.
I had the lunch beef fajitas and they were phenomenal! Some of the most tender fajita meat I’ve had and excellent prices.“

“First of all this place was just so cute and pretty, especially right before sunset, and my gf and I loved it! The lady taking our order was really nice and even complimented us which we thought was just a kind gesture. Lastly, the most important the drinks which we only got one drink and it was a blue coconut snow cone, however it was more of a slushy than a snow cone, but the lady taking our order did warn us about this before we ordered so it was all good. Either way that slushy was still really good. The entire vibe of the place is very cute and I would 100% recommend if you live near by :)“

“I was there last night and had the Platillo Durango. It was delicious. A lot of food for $17.99. Ate the stuffed pepper, beans and rice; Very good! Took the two enchiladas and tamale home for a meal today. Really tasty food. Can't wait to go again.“

“My wife and I were searching all over to find a taqueria with barbacoa. We even considered driving 20 miles. Little did we know, right in our backyard, is Pollo Regio. It was clean, the staff friendly, ave some of the best barbacoa tacos I have ever had. Took me back to Sunday mornings as a kid. We will definitely be returning here!“

“Muy rica comida, y la gente amable. Lo único decepcionante para mi es que dos veces eh ordenado Gorditas de Chicharrón Prensado y al llegar a la casa me doy cuenta que es de chicharrón duro o peya como se le conoce en Torreon. Esta última vez llame para estar segura que tenían del prensado y me dijeron que si pero no me dan el correcto. No se cual sea el problema si las de cocina o la que atiende la orden o simplemente no saben la diferencia entre uno y otro“

“My son and I stopped in for a quick snack before a haircut. We ordered 3 tacos and some drinks. These were by far the best tacos we have had since moving to Texas! Highly recommend to anyone in the Little Elm/Frisco/Prosper area.“

“I'm from out-of-state and when I arrived in town I ordered a dozen of the peas & potato enchiladas and tamales for a family gathering for the Labor Day weekend. The food was off the charts! It's the BEST authentic Mexican cuisine south of the border. Literally, I was homesick for Mexican food and La Estrella Mini Market hit the bullseye. Thank you again for the wonderful experience of your food. You're the BEST in your field. You're definitely worth the trip! See you soon.“

“Anybody giving this a 1 star is out of their mind. I just moved here, and o can tell you this is the best Mexican food I have tried thus far. Best service, food, prices, etc. surprised that this only has 4.0/5 stars when some of the other places that we’ve tried have higher ratings. Seriously, if you are new to the area like we are, try this place. So much better than everywhere else.“

“We came for the Tostitos verdes with corn. The girl added big scoops of yellow cheese and delicious boiled real corn, mixed with mayo, cheese, and some butter (secret). It was so good. A big bag is enough for two; I shared and still had leftovers. The girl here is sweet and always with a smile. Price is fair, lot of work. Thank you :)“

“Delicious breakfast burritos ? called in and took 10 minutes. Made fresh to order and I found it a week ago and this time I remembered to take photos.Small taqueria inside DK gas station.Order your food, grab drinks from the convenience store side and wait till food ready.I dumped 1 mild green salsa because I thought I could handle it from previous week. Mistake ? So spicy but why is it so good.I would stop here anytime I'm in the area going forward. Can't wait to try the other items.Try this local place out!“

“I have always had excellent service and food here, and obsessed with the chicken queso burrito! My only complaint about ordering online in general is the fact that they don’t have a way of asking for sides of sauces or even requesting sauces on your order. I ALWAYS order the spicy ranch dip/sauce on the side but never able to order it online.“
