My visit was EVERYTHING I thought it would be and I came right after work to avoid traffic on a Thursday. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu and Charmagne has thee best recommendations, service, and welcoming energy!!! Ahhh I felt like I was back home in Cali. Thank you Tora.
Quality sushi. I enjoyed all the flavors, fish was super fresh, staff was attentive glad I stopped by. Stop through and check them out!!
Love this place! Always fresh and delicious. I come atleast once a week and it never disappoints! The spicy tuna is my fav! Sota is always very welcoming and is very attentive! Highly recommend it!

Aburi TORA Austin is a sushi spot that is pretty far north but has amazing prices on several items. Not everything is cheap, but some $3 items would probably cost double at other locations. The service can be spotty because they don't have that many people to serve the tables, but they do their best and take care of you if you call them over. Ordering is off an iPad, and the app is not the greatest but good enough to get the job done. It is conveyor belt sushi, but the conveyor belt only brings the sushi to your table that you ordered. Booth style seating fits no more than four people per booth, so bigger groups have to split across booths and effectively have separate dinners. They can put a fifth chair at the end of the table, so five people is probably the absolute max for a single experience. The restaurant is very clean and slick, and the design gets five stars along with the cleanliness and some of the amazing prices. The spicy tuna is a favorite, and the shio lemon trio was full of flavor with the taki being a favorite of them. The waygu was truly a delight with all good portions. The service was phenomenal, friendly, and welcoming, with menu explanations that made the experience even better. Everything was freshly made to order, and the sushi was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and reasonably priced for the quality. It is a hidden gem that deserves so much more attention.
