Amy's is a local Austin based ice-cream shop with quite a few branches around the city including this place on US 183 next to the I Fly indoor skydiving centre. They have a fair sized indoor seating area, a few tables outside and are open from 11am to 10pm daily. Of course, you will have ice cream at Amy's in Austin. The ice cream itself is delicious, if you add a waffle cone, that’s a huge plus. The fresh crispy waffle with pure vanilla ice cream is the best Friday night treat.

We saw an Amy's at the airport, and when we mentioned it to our server last night, she encouraged us to give it a try. She said it's like Cold Stone; she was right, but Amy's is better quality ice cream. Try the dark chocolate with Andes mints mixed in. Woah!
