I've been going here for more than 45yrs, the food, service, people were outstanding.The Bamboo Garden restaurant used to be next door to "South40" before they moved to this spot, w/ the long haired, Malaysian waitress, Domaine. She made my roasted duck the way i loved it.No other Chinese place in Austin, will be able to replace Bamboo Garden. Feeling sad after we drove up to see the sign that Bamboo Garden is closed after enjoying their food for over 10 years.
Always family to me. Grandma is so amazing and Mary is always on top of everything. Been going for years.Edit: 1 year later. Just went on Jan. 5th 2024 and sad they are now closed permanently. The oldest in the city is now no more. Bamboo garden and Grandma will be missed.
