Camino Alamo BBQ 老段烧烤 is a secret, Uyghur BBQ place behind a building. It is completely outdoors with street style seating, tents, and heaters for the winter, creating an authentic atmosphere that feels like street food spots in Asia. The texture of the meat and spice is superb, and the flavor of recently charcoal grilled skewers is unbeatable. Everything is brought out as it cooks, so the food is always hot and fresh. The menu is extensive with lots of veggies and Chinese side dishes, though some items may be sold out. The lamb and fatty beef are delicious, especially with the HOT spice. Service is great, and the chef and owner are super polite. For the price, it is a 10/10. Do not park in front of the restaurant when it is open; follow the owner’s instructions for parking within an easy walk.
