I went late afternoon and there weren’t many people there so not quite sure what the atmosphere is usually like, but the food was legit and the service was good. Best carnitas I’ve had in Austin. Didn’t try the other meats
Family atmosphere and the best Austin carnitas!!!!! The lemon/cucumber/pineapple water is fantastic and super fresh, and when the temperature rises, you would like to refresh with this.I tried the pozole the second time. SO good. . full of meat and not much of grains. We tried the scope, yum yum. Despite being located in an unsavory part of town that I don't exactly feel the safest in, I've got to admit that I find myself craving the carnitas tacos from here often enough to be worth mentioning. Add some of that smoky red sauce or creamy green sauce, and you'll feel plenty satisfied after 3 servings.
