El Buen Sazón Nica Reviews
The food was absolutely delicious! A little taste of Nicaragua. The carne asada and enchiladas tasted like sitting down at a kiosk in Managua to have your dinner. We also got the chia tamarindo juice, delicious! Food is a little pricey, but 100% worth it. It’s in a sketchy part of Austin, but we sat down and ate our food and had zero issues. Definitely would come again!
Delicious, authentic
Very good food from my country. 100% recommended, the only thing they need to improve is the cabbage salad. It should be cut thinner, the same as the slices.

El Buen Sazón Nica is a restaurant in Austin that offers Nicaraguan cuisine, making it a taste of home for Nicaraguan expatriates. The menu includes popular dishes such as tipico, gallopinto, and nacatamales, as well as vegetarian options like platanos con queso, tajadas, and repollo. However, some customers have noted inconsistencies in the taste and freshness of the food, particularly with the gallo pinto and chicken. Parking is limited due to the small space. The restaurant offers Nicaraguan favorites such as cacao and roast beef, although some ingredients like the cheese for frying may not always be available. Despite some issues, customers remain loyal and hope for improvement, citing the need for constructive criticism.
