I'm Nicaraguan living in Austin for 15 years I was excited to finally have a piece of home in my city. I loved the cacao (drink) I also ordered the tipico or(popular main course) I was there a couple of hours before closing so my food didn't seem fresh, but my mother's did because she ordered an appetizer, all in all I believe they cook good it was just a matter of timing! I really liked the roast beef, which was very delicious, but the ranch does not sell the cheese that is good for frying and also the gallopinto was not very good! But in the end we know that nothing here tastes the same as it does in our land!
I was happy to have found a Nica food stand but the food is not always made the same sometimes it is very good but sometimes the gallo pinto is pure rice or sometimes the chicken tastes strange or they give you cold food the simple salad and the enchiladas They taste just like tacos.
