Very unassuming mom -n- pops joint, and delicious. Platanos -n- beans were perfect. Camarones plato was perfect. Pupusas were delicious. Overall delicious. Eating family style here works perfect. Surprisingly picoso salsita.
El Sunzal is an amazing place to get your salvadorean food fix. I've ordered Pupusas (Pupusas de queso con loroco (cheese with loroco), revueltas (pork and cheese), and frijol con queso (cheese and beans) they were delicious, the Pupusas are a bit small but they are super tasty and filled with cheese and your choice of filling that you'd like. We went on a day when everyone must've been working so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The pupusas are good (not as good as my mom's ?). They didn't have horchata, which was disappointing. However, the agua de tamarindo was really good. The place looks run down, but the food is pretty good.
